Really getting into this new one by Lisa See. I loved Snow Flower and the Secret Fan. After reading about tea I was struck with the urge to make my own!

This novel sucked me right in. A compelling story about consequences, and identity all wrapped up in a time-traveling tale. 📚

This was a really good memoir full of hilarity and honesty. A quick read that made me laugh and also touched my heart.

Fall is officially here and I'm celebrating with pumpkin pie and scary stories. This non-fiction isn't quite what I expected, but it's a wonderful journey into the past and the psychology behind why we tell "ghost stories."

My library's display to celebrate #bannedbooks week. This got me unbelievably excited.

Beautifully written, and I really enjoyed the liberties Whitehead took with history to integrate several points of oppression in this harrowing and sometimes disturbing novel.

This is amazing! I want to live in this story.
