I know some others have said that this is just another typical fantasy but this is everything I love about reading. I love losing myself in another world where the main character chooses to be strong and stand up for their beliefs. I love connecting with the characters and pretending for just a minute that it might be me on the page being a hero.

Book friends help me out here. I LOVED A Curse so Dark and Lonely, but I just cannot wrap my brain around Grey‘s massive personality change. I‘m supposed to believe the he can completely turn around on his whole belief system after learning one piece of information? Also I am only about a quarter of the way through so maybe it will become clearer later.

Just finished reading this and it was so goo! I had a really hard time putting it down. Harper, Rhen, and Grey have all lodged themselves in my heart and I have no choice but to read the next book immediately! Thankful for Kindle books that can be purchased and read at the exact moment I need them!

After reading the Grishaverse series I found Crooked Kingdom slightly more interest than Six of Crows but still not my favorite. I really liked the final scheme but found the beginning 3/4 of the book packing. I might be the only one here, but I don‘t like Kaz and I think Nikolai is a way more interesting schemer! What do you think? Who is the master of schemes Nikolai or Kaz?

This was a great end to the Grishaverse trilogy! I was slightly disappointed in the ending, just because everything turned out a little too perfectly for the main characters. I am going to continue with Crooked Kingdom and then King of Scars. (I actually read Six of Crows about a month ago). I can‘t wait to see how all of the stories intertwine.

Having a great ride reading all about the Grishaverse from Leigh Bardugo! I can‘t wait to see what happens to Mal, Alina, and the Darkling next!

I loved this book! By far my favorite by Leigh Bardugo! I was sucked in to the beautiful friendship of Alina and Mal from the very beginning. Can‘t wait to start on Siege and Storm immediately!

I give Wicked as You Wish 4 stars. I really enjoyed reading this book, it had diverse characters and tons of action. The book was a little bit confusing at points and some of the explanations fell flat for me.

Starting the New Year off with a bang by reading my very first ARC! This book is action packed and full of super diverse characters. I‘m loving the Filipina MC who reminds me of my lovely Filipina cousin! What a great story so far!

I loved the continuation of Zoey‘s story. Although the main plot keeps me on my toes some of the subplots are getting a little repetitive. Overall though I could not put this book down and am so excited to continue reading!

I found most of this book very hard to read. The first 300 pages were really boring. I enjoyed the action of the actual heist but there was so much build up. I felt like there were too many main characters.

This book was great! It was super fast paced and hooked me from the beginning. I loved how Astrid would do anything to protect her little brother. I did feel that the ending was rushed the the motivations of a few key characters were unclear and it is really nagging at me. I‘ll put those concerns in a spoiler in the comments, but if you love #yafantasy read this!

I really loved this series and this book. I thought the characters were well developed. But I agree with others that the ending did not seem quite right. I think it is because one of the super well developed characters acted completely opposite of his character.

This year my husband and I are going to Vegas. We often go around Christmas time so it‘s a bit of a tradition for us. My dream though has always been to surprise my family with a trip to Hawaii. Some day I will do it!

I‘m finishing up the cruel prince today. The story is great but honestly all the different types of creatures and the different courts is so confusing to me. Are these typical faerie creatures that I am supposed to know about? Would someone explain some of them to me?

I‘m starting a Constellation of Roses today. I haven‘t seen many reviews. I hope it‘s good!

I give Winterwood by Shea Ernshaw 5 stars. To be honest I really didn‘t expect to like this book. My personal tastes lead me to more fantastical books. Even though this book has an element of magic, it isn‘t overwhelming. I think this book reads more like a contemporary novel with some light magic than a fantasy novel.

I just finished bingeing Untamed and it was amazing. Probably my favorite book in the House of Night series so far. I love how big of a role grandma Redbird has in this book. Unfortunately I only own the first 4 books in the series and now have to wait and see if I get any more for Christmas. I can‘t wait to continue!

I really enjoyed reading Chosen even if it was a little predictable. At the end I couldn‘t put it down!

I loved this book and this whole series. I thought Five Dark Fates ended the series perfectly! One thing that I really liked about this series was that there were no dud books. Usually second or third books fall flat in a series but I absolutely loved every one of Kendare Blake‘s books!!!

I‘m up before the sun with two of my favorite things. A homemade latte and a good book! So far I am loving this book, but I‘m not sure I want the Three Dark Crowns series to end!!!

Last day of my read along of Marked. I finished the book and loved it! As you can see my orange cat helped me read about Nala, the orange cat in the book! I had a hard time putting the book down during the last 100 pages. I am so curious to find out what will happen next! Good thing I have the next three books ready to read! Day two of my Marked read along. Today I read chapters 11-19. This section was mostly about two different full moon rituals. I liked learning more about the Vampyres and the rules of their community. I also completely love Zoey‘s friends Stevie Rae and Damien! I also really like Zoey‘s cat. I love female orange cats! Things are getting a little more complicated for Zoey because she isn‘t like theothers. Can‘t wait to read more!

Day one of my read along and the first 10 chapters of Marked. So far I am really like the mix of Vampire and Cherokee cultures. My favorite part was when Zoey described her laughter as birthday cake frosting! I‘m not so into the mean girl storyline and there is some offensive language in here. Some of the 2007 slang is not okay by today‘s standards. Overall I‘m looking forward to reading more! What are your thoughts?
