Very good book!

I initially chose it as a replacement to the ACOTAR/ CC series because I was literally HUNG OVER from reading them all. I had heard they were a great replacement for the time being.

Great world setting, a mix of vampires, gods and other magically gifted individuals. Poppy starts to become aware and awakens from the world she is living in naturally from the help of Hawke.

Brilliant book. Didn't like Nesta to start off and some of her reactions were questionable but she pulls through! She slowly becomes a well rounded character fixated on conquering death.

Also the Dread trove is just *chef's kiss*

Smaller in comparison. I almost felt guilty reading it as I'm used to 600+ pages. But this Novella is only a teaser and a close to last three.
It teases Cassian and Nesta a bit which I am intrigued to see how that dynamic will unfold.
Part of me doesn't like the splashing of wealth in this book. They build an estate and suddenly she's a business all because it can be bought just annoys me a bit, especially as she was in poverty before 😅

Quick paced once again.
Brilliant scheming by Feyre who might go on to regret it over time. Love how Lucien just joins on to the group as an add on.

The Acheron sisters are a bit tedious at times.

The battle with Hybern rages and reaches it's climax. Quite spicy at times but definitely a tone less than ACOMAF

Loved meeting and reading about new High Lords and regions and how they come together to overcome threats looming.

This book, the second in The ACOTAR saga is just AMAZING.

New realisations are made, new characters are introduced, new courts and new dynamics. A LOT of hidden truths revealed and my goodness the Spice escalates! 🌶🌶🌶 (+🌶 for Wingspan - if you know you know).

Such an intense ending as well, making you dive into the next!

Quick paced. Beautiful world building - LOVED Prythian and the Courts.
Feyre is an exceptional character and one you feel very close to. The atmosphere is captivating and the spice is a solid 2 I'd say 🌶🌶

Quick paced, romantic at times. Certainly not a load of Spice ( maybe 1 x 🌶).
Great World building and loved the themes of consent and over riding outdated traditions!

Very interesting read! Love submerging into the thriling side of Tolkien

Appeared as a dark and unimportant building, with a distressed door which you buzz. When you walk through you're into a speakeasy 1920s styled gentleman's room with dim lighting, welcoming sofa chairs and rustic tables - loved their cocktail book too! All those 20pgs

Definitely has lost that feeling of emotion I once felt as a young teen. But has definitely not lost any of it's charm! A brilliant children's/young teen book.

It was very descriptive. Good taste of lore.
At times not written the best it could have been as it lacked elements of suspence. Almost felt like the author was leading you by the hand through its entirety.

This book is perfect for children who may be going through grief. It takes the story from the prospective of a young boy and his dog. Such a sweet tale. A MUST READ for any classroom!

Good read. Very quirky. Yet it lacked a bit of the grimey truth. In other words, I imagined the Norse gods and goddesses to be a lot more quick to anger, battling, feasting, dangerous, etc. It seemed that the book portrayed a more comical side to this mythology...

This was a fantastic read. I was initially worried in case it wouldn't have matched to A Song of Fire and Ice style/standard of writing but I was actually blown away. The detail and characters were beautiful and it made reading this book perfect for 'filler' during the dreaded wait for Winds of Winter. 😅
