Sace I confess I started my week in an irritable mood despite having Monday off. The skies were gray and I had been people-ing too much. I‘m feeling better now. My only plans today are grocery shopping, haircut, lunch and reading. 5d

Read4life We‘re still in the USVI taking care of my father in law. There was no change with him this week. We were able to get to the beach 4 days this week. This weekend we‘re going to spend time with my mother in law and her husband. In spite of the stressful reason we‘re here, we are getting some wonderful time with family. 5d

Faranae A week of insomnia, so I'm way behind on everything, but at least my stream reading has been going great (although an entire 30 minutes of my silly Don Quixote voice has left my vocal cords shredded oops). I‘m currently up in PA with the #manpanion.
This morning I had tea with a cinnamon swirl donut.
I just finished putting pork stroganoff into the crockpot for dinner.
Then I‘m cleaning the kitchen and doing laundry.
I plan on spending the evening reading, knitting, and playing backgammon with the manpanion (who does not have WiFi so no computer work or tv streaming😬).

Librarybelle I found I wanted to read last night, which it‘s been a few days since I really could. There‘s been a lot on my mind, and Heather Cox Richardson‘s post this morning puts it into words so eloquently. She‘s an amazing political historian who bases everything she says on facts and history. But, this weekend is usual routines, with Sunday being a family get together. These checkins are so nice. You don't have to pay for it if you don't want to. She is also doing an audio version if you're interested in that. It comes out later in the day. Did you see the post she wrote the day after the election? And her posts generally take less than 10 minutes to read. 2w

I also heard her speak a few weeks ago at a virtual event, and I was struck by how articulate and knowledgeable she is. I have her books and really need to read them. I agree with @Suet624 …it takes me less than 10 minutes to read her posts. 2w

Saturdays are my mostly solitude & regroup time. As I work from home I like to go out to a semi-quiet coffee shop.

Today I stopped by the craft market & found my favorite card vendor back-so I restocked. I‘m going to eat my breakfast, drink my coffee, read for various readathons & HauntedShelf, get some #LitsyLove responses & Halloween greetings out & get around to some #5JoyFridays posts.
