khooliha I had forgotten so much of this book! I really enjoyed the stuff with Mightily Oats, and I wouldn't anticipated how well he works in this novel. 4y

khooliha It is odd to see two character lines ending back to back (with this and Last Continent). I think both work well as saying goodbye, though I do wish Agnes had had more to do since, as far as I remember, we don't see her again. 4y

Riveted_Reader_Melissa @khooliha I agree, we just really started getting the pictsies here, with only the brief appearance of Wee Mad Arther before, I want to skip ahead to Wee Free Men now! More pictsies and witches! 4y

Riveted_Reader_Melissa I really liked this one, not really a surprise since I tend to prefer the witches and guard. I liked the spin on the fairy godmother naming, and the “modernized” vampire, it all just worked well for me. 4y
