There are days where I really love my job, yesterday was one of those days. I got to spend 25 hours in New Orleans and I made the most of my time, going on a self guided literary tour. My first stop was Faulkner House Books. A bookstore in William Faulkner‘s former residence. So many wonderful books, many from local NOLA authors, and I bought a new copy of the mentioned book. #bookstorelove #travels

On our way to the beach for family vacation! I‘m not really a sun, sand, & sea kinda girl, but the family wants what they want. So I searched for bookstores along the road trip, and found Lemuria Bookstore in Jackson, MS. They conceded a stop & it did not disappoint! Everything I saw, I said #gottogetyouintomylife Back on the road now, but I left with 5 of my top picks, 3 for the teenager, and a t-shirt. 💕📚 #heyjune #lemuriabooks #bookstorelove

I know I shared my Easter bookhaul, but I don't think I shared any photos of this #usedbookstore that I visited Easter weekend. I only make it to Centennial Books twice a year so it's always a thrill to dig through the double-stacked sci-fi/fantasy shelves and carefully scan tottering piles throughout the store, seeking those elusive titles from my "to buy" list. Along the way, I always discover other treasures ❤️?#bookstorelove

Another #Bookhaul! This stack from one of my favourite used bookstores: Wee Book Inn on Whyte Ave (Edmonton, AB). I only get to check out this store once or twice a year so I love each second spent searching the shelves, taking in the atmosphere. This time, however, it was a lot busier and noisier than usual so no bookstore kitty in sight 😿The tagged book is one I plan to read this year for one of the reading challenges. #BookstoreLove #TBR
