Loved it! ❤️
A romance 10 years in the making that is totally worth the wait.
I am posting one book per day from my extensive to-be-read collection. No description and providing no reason for wanting to read it, I just do. Some will be old, some will be new. Don‘t judge me - I have a lot of books. Join in if you want!

A truly memorable romance story ?❄️?
“Sometimes you just meet the right person at the wrong time," I say softly. "Yeah," he says.
"And then you spend every day afterward wishing that time could be rearranged."

Reluctantly picked this for love triangle for my ongoing effort to stick with booked23 even though it‘s finished and I don‘t like love triangles. And yet here I am, crying a tad at what is really 2 love stories - one of 2 people finding their way to each other and their forever but also a great exploration of a female friendship - highs and lows and all. Or it‘s the 2 glasses of wine I had, because it‘s been one heck of a week !
It was cute. I love a theme book so reading this in December was fun. The ending was fairly predictable but the path there was not so I enjoyed it.
⭐️⭐️2.5
My expectations were quite high since the book got such a high rating, but the plot fell flat for me. Don't get me wring some parts were heartbreaking and I felt it. But overall I thought the way the characters and plot developed were predictable. Check out my goodreads review:https://www.goodreads.com/review/show/5164486173?book_show_action=false

Good one to finish at the temperatures are dropping and the rain turns to snow. ❄️ Somewhat a holiday romance (not entirely). Love at first sight turns into a love triangle situation.
I usually enjoy the book selections from Reese Witherspoon, and I was looking for a holiday read. Unfortunately, this was not the winner that I had anticipated. A girl meets boy story that follows the couple for 10 years too long in my opinion. I really couldn‘t wait till it was over. But, I do think it would make a successful Christmas movie. #audiobook
I recently started reading my second holiday ish themed book. Heard mixed reviews on this, hopefully I‘ll be able to see what the hype is about. 👀

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I wouldn‘t classify this as a holiday romance as the title and cover allude, but this story of missed opportunities proved to be the perfect #bookclub choice to round out 2022. The journey was quite meandering, yet entertaining enough to keep us pulling for Laurie and Jack. Charming, frustrating, and ultimately satisfying.
Finally! A Holiday read. 🎄🤶🏻❤️
I loved this one 💙🤍💙

My first #WinterReadathonDailyChallenge post! This is Sir Murray the Old English Sheepdog good-naturedly but awkwardly wearing his reindeer antlers! This is such a fun challenge; thanks to @Andrew65 , @DieAReader , and @GHABI4ROSES ! I have various bingo cards I‘ll be posting later. #WinterReadathon
Okay! Here you go @Soscha 😊💕📚Here are your 5 books for December from your #trappedonanisland link. Thank you @aperfectmjk for putting this together! Happy Reading!
A quick listen. Not awful, but I didn't get any warm and fuzzies while listening to it. Nor was I really even rooting for the MC to get together. Surprised to see that it made a Reese pick, but I suppose there are some interesting points of discussion.

This cute love story was truly spectacular. I am not usually big into romantic love stories, but this one had great reviews. I was pleasantly surprised by the character development throughout the story. This book did not disappoint. It also tackled issues like monogamy, depression, death, grief, loss, and marriage challenges. It was not the stereotypical story of two perfect people falling in love and merging their perfect lives.
I‘m planning to sleep late so I wanted to post now!
I LOVED this book!! It‘s perfect to read in December! 🥶 ❄️ 💙

Loved this book and it made me a fan of Josie Silver‘s books. Enjoyed every one so far.

I seriously got Nora Ephron vibes from this, I would not be surprised if a movie is in the works.
Listening to the audiobook and I gotta say, the woman who narrates Laurie‘s sections is getting me in all the feels.
The pacing however is excruciating. If I was reading it rather than listening I‘d have jumped ahead to get a peek…but I will try to resist.
I liked the idea of how the novel started. It veered off course for me pretty quickly. I can‘t say I didn‘t like it, I was always eager to read it. However it always fell a little flat to me. I felt like there was a lot of telling me how close the characters were, without ever really showing the relationships in the story. And after 10 years of build up, the ending feels so abrupt.
So cute and easy to breeze through! Spans ~ 10 years so we get to see how things change for the characters. Reminded me of Normal People. Readers say they don‘t get the chem between Jack and Laurie, but I thought it was written well and easy to immerse myself in. The ending was creative. It‘s a win for me, especially with the fun holiday theme!!
A personal favourite and how I discovered the wonderful Josie Silver, thanks to #SundayBuddyRead

A cute story that follows 3 people over the course of 10 years. Two lock eyes in what can be described as love at first sight, until the bus drive away and they don‘t see each other for a year, when the third person brings home their new boyfriend.
I enjoyed this read and thought it was fun. I enjoyed the time growth and reading as the characters grew. I do recommend this book lots!
I didn‘t love this one. The main characters and some of their choices annoyed me. I did find 184 words for the word search.

My goal this year was to read at least one Christmas book during the season. This one wasn‘t necessarily Christmas themed but it had been on my bookshelf for far too long! I really enjoyed this book. I‘m not big on romance novels but this one was one of my favorites! It takes place over ten years and follows the lives of three people. It was a new concept for me but I loved it! 4🌟!
Do you believe in love at first sight?! I‘m a hopeless romantic so I do!! 💙

Although I wasn‘t enamoured with Jack and felt Laurie was too good for him, I was drawn in by the story of star-crossed lovers. Spanning close to a decade, the story follows both MCs through their romantic ups and downs. It starts and ends during Christmas, hence why I chose it for my holiday reading. 3.5⭐️
