This one is due back at the library, and it‘s sweltering outside, but I‘m trying to find the energy to finally finish this series. After being indoors all day at work, I just want to be outside reading. The 🦟 are trying to spoil my plans though, after all the rain we‘ve gotten lately. #readerproblems
Did I mayyybe go overboard on Book Outlet a couple weeks ago? Probably yes, but…
In my defense they were all so cheap! And the tagged finishes a series I started in January that‘s been nagging at me with a need to find out what happens next. Also I‘ve been terrible about reading my library books and also at returning them super late. So owning the books makes sense right?

My coworkers gave me this one for my bday, from a library sale. Should have looked it up because it‘s the 3rd in a series, but it didn‘t matter because the situation is recapped. My mom loves Hilderbrand books, this is my first one. If you want a beach read or an armchair travel story, this is good. I wanted there to be more mystery because it‘s marketed that way on the flap. The teen character had a storyline, 👇
I was a bit disappointed in this as a series. I felt the meat of the story happened in Book 1, and the other two books simply allowed us to linger with the characters without much more actual story. I remained interested in MC Irene through all three books, but her two sons became tiresome. I did love the update on Margaret Quinn toward the end of this one because Winter Street is my favorite series from this author.
Last in the trilogy. A neat and tidy ending. Light easy beach read.
This is the 3rd and final book in this trilogy. I think it started a little bit slow and repetitive in the family drama situation. However, the last half of the book was more interesting with some twists I didn‘t expect. Not much to say without spoiling the story. 3.8⭐️

#2021Goals read/complete series already started
The perfect ending to the amazing trilogy set on St. John USVI, my island home.
This was a good conclusion to the series. It got a bit repetitive at times but overall it was an enjoyable read.

In 𝐄𝐥𝐢𝐧 𝐇𝐢𝐥𝐝𝐞𝐫𝐛𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐝's 𝐓𝐫𝐨𝐮𝐛𝐥𝐞𝐬 𝐢𝐧 𝐏𝐚𝐫𝐚𝐝𝐢𝐬𝐞, Irene, Baker & Cash must make new plans. Complications abound, feelings deepen, new relationships are tested . . . & the FBI's investigates the helicopter crash. St. John is damaged, but not destroyed by a hurricane. Will her characters be as lucky? ⭐⭐⭐⭐

On the third day of Christmas...
Book # is is the conclusion of the trilogy. I absolutely loved this series. It was full of suspense, romance and family drama.
Good wrap up to this series. #tbr #readnosedreindeer #wintergames @StayCurious #bookspinbingo square @TheAromaofBooks
An entertaining conclusion to this fun series in St John
A solid end to the trilogy, I'd say! The story lines tied up nicely. Nothing earth shattering, that goes for the whole series, but a comforting, easy Hilderbrand read. And I loved the Quinn family cameo at the end! ❤️
I can't belive it is done. I loved this trilogy. The ending was amazing and tied everything together.
This made me laugh so hard todat, as I am on cup 3 of the day.
Virtual book even with Elin Hilderbrand and Amanda Ward (The Jetsetters)...and @JenReadsAlot at her house. Another pandemic silver lining, these events.
I feel like such a slow reader. Ever since school started I haven't been reading as much or as fast. This came in like 2 weeks ago and I am still working on it. I also have my #lmpbc book to finish as well.
I do enjoy the days where I can just sit and read.
I think I liked this better than 28 Summers. Nice wrap up to the trilogy.
OMG! The plot thickens and the drama is amped up. I have felt so many emotions for Irene and her boys in the fallout of their father's actions. It was comforting to see them find their footing again and pave a new path toward more promising futures.
October 14/25 #LitsyLove
I have a couple of more “heavy” library books to read...I‘m choosing this for some guilty pleasure instead. #weekendread
This is a mostly satisfying ending to the Paradise trilogy, set in St. John, US VI. I don‘t want to post spoilers for those not caught up, but Hilderbrand continues to intertwine the Steele family and Rosie‘s friends and family. She ended it using a hurricane, based on real-life Irma, to bring everyone‘s story into sharp relief. 3.5⭐️
I‘m finding ways to read now. The headache is bad today, but I‘m improving overall! Thanks for the support! 💕

𝐄𝐥𝐢𝐧 𝐇𝐢𝐥𝐝𝐞𝐫𝐛𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐝 to the rescue on a hot California Sunday (91 degrees). Can't be outdoors -- the air quality is bad due to the ongoing wildfires.
Until the 49ers game, I'll be enjoying 𝐓𝐫𝐨𝐮𝐛𝐥𝐞𝐬 𝐢𝐧 𝐏𝐚𝐫𝐚𝐝𝐢𝐬𝐞, the 3rd & final installment in her 𝐏𝐚𝐫𝐚𝐝𝐢𝐬𝐞 𝐬𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐬, escaping reality on beautiful St. John with Huck, Irene, Ayers, et. al to see how their story ends.
#TBRtemptation post 2! Soon to be released. Any Elin fans?! This will be the third installment in her Paradise series. In this one, the secrets and lies are revealed behind why Irene and her sons are at St. John. Her granddaughter and the other islanders get involved for the full cast and beachy setting Elin is world-famous for. #blameLitsy #blameMrBook 😎
‼️ Here's one October #BOTM spoiler for you! Looks like Elin confirmed on Instagram that her newest book will be available as an extra next month (even if she's not sure what that means exactly 😂). Not an altogether surprising choice though, given that the first two in the series were also picks.
Will be released on Oct. 6. Set in the Virgin Islands. You never know what it feels like to lose everything that you have worked for and lived with until it‘s taken away. A hurricane is moving towards the island. This family thinks they have already lost what matters, maybe this hurricane will show them that there is more to life to lose than wealth in form of money and belongings. Love Elin Hilderbrands books, this one will not disappoint.
