I just couldn‘t put it down! Such a fun, kind of ridiculous book, with banter that won‘t quit and some real family drama (Pepper‘s mom is the absolute worst, though Jack‘s dad doesn‘t rate very high with me either). I haven‘t read much YA for a while now, but this was great. Next up is some Audre Lorde - looks short but probably devastating.
I started this yesterday during kiddo‘s dance classes and am really enjoying it. I‘m 1/3 in already (partly courtesy of an early dental appointment) and hate having to put it down to do necessary life things. Darn adult responsibilities - just let me read my YA in peace!
Most debuts wish they were this good. Pepper and Jack's voices and desires are incredible, and I love all the little bits of comedy inserted through the book. The perfect #reread to kick off April. #yalit #yaromance

this book had me cheesing and giggling so hard! i absolutely loved the way it was written; a dual perspective novel that felt like i was watching a cute teeny bopper romance movie! i loved the characters of jack and pepper, and i thought using social media as a big part of the plot is so smart in keeping relevance with today‘s young readers. the romantic in me was falling for this book; i couldn‘t put it down!!!
🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰 pepperjack??!!! You‘re telling me this is a cheesy book about 🧀??? S O L D!
Ugh what a cute story! I loved their chemistry and flirting. I loved how realistic their emotions were & how much they were actual 17 year olds who needed a big hug. The whole article thing felt like a bit of a stretch but OH WELL - so fun, like a palate cleanser!!
Adorable! As I become closer to a parent's age rather than a teen, I'm finding some YA novels harder to read as characters are immature & create their own problems. But this book didn't make me feel that way. If anything, the parents were acting more immature and making infuriating decisions, and I liked how that gave the book a more interesting dynamic.
All my recent rom-com reads have had some sort of baking element, and I'm here for it!
This was a cute rom-com about Pepper and Jack, who got involved in the twitter wars between their families' restaurants.
Thanks to recommendations from my Litsy friends, I decided to move this from my TBR list to my Read Now list! Accompanying my reading this afternoon is today's baking project: orange sour cream cookies with orange icing, and an orange supreme with mint garnish.
Just finished and I loved it. I like both main characters and the Twitter war lol. It‘s a fun and cute romance
My current read
Pepper-overachiever, perfectionist and swim captain.
Jack-bit of a class clown, lives in the shadow of his twin and a thorn in Peppers side.
They both help out in their family businesses and become involved in a Twitter feud. Throw in feuding businesses, a school friendship app - things get complicated, lines become blurred.
A real cute, fresh high school romance which makes the reader think about life chances and finding love in unexpected places
Good job I have a great book to keep me company whilst hubby is having physio in his arm.
Finally getting round to reading this #newyearwhodis book recommended by @TheAromaofBooks
Heard lots of good things so looking forward to starting it after work today 📚❤️
Fast food chain + small family restaurant = Twitter war + romance.
📚📚📚
Toastie takedowns & Twitter snark. Pepper & Jack are in an all-out Twitter war, fighting for the things that matter--like grilled cheese sandwiches. Meanwhile, Pepper & Jack navigate school, family, and an unlikely romance born from social media sabotage. This is a story of identity, power, entrepreneurship, and love.
📚
Have you read Tweet Cute yet? What did you think?
Made me literally LOL, adorable story. I wish there was a sequel.
3/5 ⭐
This book was cute. Even if it wasn't the best romance I still enjoyed the story and characters.
It made me feel nostalgic. It made me think of myself in high school.
Just keep in mind that they're teenagers.
Romy hidding her face in my blanket while I'm reading. She's been doing this since she was a puppy. 🥰😍📖
This is my may #doublespin
Very good, but left a lot of things unsolved, and bam in the epilogue we find that everything is fine again. Sooo, it's not the best, but it is a pick because it is cute. 😂
@TheAromaofBooks
Twitter wars set the backdrop for this super cute light read.
Pepper helps to manage the Twitter feed for her family‘s fast food chain, Big League Burger, while Jack is busy working at his family‘s deli.
What lengths will Jack go to when he learns Big League Burger may have stole his grandmother‘s grilled cheese recipe?
Things get more intense when Pepper and Jack begin to develop feelings for each other.
Definitely recommended for readers!
This is my #bookspin and #bookspinbingo list for May.
@TheAromaofBooks Thanks for hosting this challenge!
Ps to self: my #bookspin is a free slot (might end up reading A Promised Land or The Silent Patient), and the #doublespin is Tweet Cute.
My kitty-girl, Inara is so silly. She lays in such weird ways all the time. Notice that one of her back legs is up near her head. 😸 We're just staying up too late, trying to finish this book. Well, I am staying up late. #catsoflitsy
Okay, this is an adorable and sweet romance. I loved Pepper, Jack and all their friends. The Twitter war was even cute, and the desserts... well, I‘m hungry now! I took this book on vacation, and it was a perfect light-hearted read!
This was just a fun, cute, cheesy romance, and it was a great light read to pick up after finishing Kingdom of Ash. Just what I needed to cure my book hangover and I read it in pretty much one sitting. 4 ⭐️‘s
This was just what I needed today! Totally binged it this afternoon. It was funny and adorable, if a little predictable.
Pepper and Jack were great characters and I enjoyed watching the story unfold from each of their points of view. It was refreshing to see a romance story where the MC actually communicated really well - even if they didn‘t realise it!!!
Thank you so much Chelsea for my package! I'm so excited to get started on Tweet Cute! I've been wanting to read it for a while. Also the candy is AMAZING!
Happy Valentine's Day to everyone!

I‘m not sure which is more adorable, this book, or #HelloKitty sleeping in her new cat hut. 🐈⬛
Grilled cheese and Twitter wars, viral memes, and some really crappy adults aren‘t usually my cup of tea. But the two teen main characters are what made this book for me.

With grilled cheese mentioned on almost every page of this book, is it any surprise what I had for lunch? 🤣
I felt like experimenting, so I added some frog jam in it (fig, orange, raspberry, ginger jam). With Havarti, and. 4 cheese blend, it is SO good! 😋
This is the first morning that has gone to plan this week, which means I‘ve already worked 2 hrs and can take a tea break before doing my workout!
We got our closing date this week, Feb 26! And...I am hopefully starting a new job Feb 8! Case manager for HIV patients, I‘ll be working with primarily the immigrant patients. 🤞the extension of the county stay at home order this week doesn‘t push my training back again, into the week we move. 😬
Just another cheesy (pun) cute story about teens falling in love - though with the added stress of a Twitter war, elite prep school, college, jobs, and their anonymous school app.
Overall, this is a simple, cute read that offers a slightly different take on a meet-cute, but just didn't hit on any new topics for me to be amazed or want to read it again.
Fans of witty teen banter with a splash of "technology" and easy romance will enjoy. In a class with Rainbow Rowell's early books.
Devouring this in audiobook format. I'm not usually one for contemporary fiction (too empathetic - Enneagram 9 here), but this one matches drama for humor and keeps the story moving!
Thank you, Sarah! Everything is awesome. I had to laugh when I opened the box and the writing implements spilled out - I have several of the snowflake pencil and my favorite pens look just like this one! Happy New Year, and farewell 2020!

Sadly this one suffered from top much hype, for me. I probably would‘ve enjoyed it more if I came to it with lower expectations. That being said, it is an adorable love story, and I love nyc. Her mum drove me up the wall and that was hard to deal with 😂 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
I had this on my wishlist for months. I was prepared for a cheesy (get it?) read, but dear god, this book was close to give me a toothache. Predictable as f*ck, even for YA, and all the adults were just THE WORST. There also was a lot of bullying and dangerous behaviour on twitter that wasn‘t really addressed.
⭐️⭐️,5 stars
Rating: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Tweet Cute was a fun read that was cute. I enjoyed all the banter between Jack and Pepper. I didn‘t like Pepper‘s mom and was annoyed with her anytime she had page time. I did get a little bored with the story at times. But, this is a binge worthy read.

Sweet! What a sweet way to update the "penpals who fall in love, but are enemies in real life" trope. If you have never seen the classic, The Shop Around the Corner with Jimmy Stewart, you should. Or its remake, You Got Mail.
This book will make you starve. I think it should have come with a cookbook.

I have a Google Books credit so was going to use it towards a romantic comedy! Any favorites here? I want a laugh-out-loud funny book that has plenty of butterfly moments! Or any suggestions not included here are okay, too!
This story is adorable! It features smart, obedient kids, plus baking 💖 And a nice, long epilogue 💖 All my favorite things!
I could only root for Pooja Singh: an Indian-American girl demonized by the white female MC bc Pooja competes with her for the school‘s top honors. The MC even says Pooja was made co-captain of the swim team bc the coach wanted to “soften the blow” of the MC “earning” it. That kind of characterization is racist. It reminds me of folks I had to deal with in my own hs years who couldn‘t stand the fact that a brown girl would dare to be ambitious 🙄
started reading this cute little YA rom-com. Frenemies, rival restaurants and a snarky twitter war...are making this a fun and quick read.
