Tense times for Mercy - but as always she manages to get herself in and out of trouble.

#ReadAway2024 #SeriesLove2024 This is another great entry in the Mercy Thompson series. But I‘d like to comment on the covers. In the books, Mercy has the coyote paw print tattoo below her navel and a few tattoos on her arms. The Mercy on the covers is “over-tatted.” But it‘s a minor quibble and doesn‘t stop me from loving the series.
I truely enjoyed listening to this while we battle covid for the second time in the last month (thought they said you couldn‘t get it twice in 30 days🙄)
It‘s a cold wet and wild morning here. Going to sit and listen to some of bone crossed while resting. This little darling Is Dimitri, my tiniest baby mouse. He is staying with us.
Our house has yet another virus. I guess our immune must be down from covid a few weeks back. Can‘t really focus on reading print so going to listen to this for a while this afternoon
Continuing on the Mercy Thompson kick! The vampire drama in this book was fine, but I was more interested in the werewolf pack dynamics. Also Adam continues to be great! Also-also, Baba Yaga was at the fae bar!
How can trouble keep finding Mercy? Asking for a friend... Because I swear it was just a few pages in and trouble was in Mercy's living room, looking up at her. Mercy being who she is of course, needs to get to the bottom of it and figure out the situation in order to save who she cares for.
I love the first POV as Mercy has these great inner monologues and it really helps define her character and growth from book one to this one.
Look at me finally finishing a book.
One more and we‘ll be in new territory. AKA the books in this series that I‘ve never read before. So excited.

This is one of my fave covers of the series. But not necessarily my fave book. Still very good, just not my fave.
Book 9 for #screamathon and #scarathlon #teamharkness plus about 9 other readathons.
So these continue to entice me. The world this author creates is so vivid. I am getting lost in it :) One of the.good things about having to drive through traffic is having time to listen to audiobooks. (Silver Lining)
Can't stop reading this series. It's my way of getting a little peace and quiet during exam time
10/10 Easily the best book I've read yet in the Mercy Thompson series. A lot of emotions in a small amount of pages, definitely keeps you enthralled. Love the walking stick and the new oak tree by Mercy's trailer.
Really enjoyed this installment. Getting right into the Mercyverse 😁 can't wait to see what the next book has in store.
When you're reading a Mercy Thompson stories and this is the weather outside 😂🙈

Giving it to Mercy Thompson. Still one of my favorite characters when it comes to this genre. She's cool, collected, & completely fierce. She's smart & a survivor. She not afraid to admit weaknesses, she's aware of her strengths, & she knows she's attractive. She's pretty "real" in my mind, considering she shifts into a coyote!

"One of the oddest things about being grown-up was looking back at something you thought you knew and finding out the truth of it was completely different from what you had always believed."
I'm really enjoying this series, and the plot has been my favorite so far.
The picture is from yesterday's trip to the park, but I'm still reading this.
It's a beautiful day! The Hubs and I brought Pages to the park to feed the ducks and to sit in the shade and read. #DogsofLitsy #PagestheMorkie
Enjoying some cinnamon tea and some Mercy.
A little fantasy to compliment the rainy day.
I‘ve read all of these books and they‘re wonderful! However, I need to de-stash, so I‘m having a giveaway. So if you want this stash of Mercy Thompson books, just make a post with the hashtag #MercyThompsonGiveaway , and tell me why you want to add these books to your collection. Do this by Friday, November 17, 2017, midnight, EST and I will make the announcement on Saturday, November 18. Also, remember to tag me,
Picked this series up again during a stressful week. It‘s been therapeutic to let Mercy fight battles in my stead!
"'Kept you busy and out of trouble for a whole summer,' said Bran smugly. He was teasing...but serious as well. One of the oddest things about being grown-up was looking back at something you thought you knew and finding out the truth of it was completely different from what you had always believed."
A patron returned all of these in two big bags. She says she read them all in a week, she found them so entertaining. There you have it, a patron recommends Patricia Briggs and Anne Bishop. 😊👍🏻 #LitsyLovesLibraries
This scene is nothing but FEELINGS. 🐺😍😅 #mercythompson #romantsy
On Mercy Thompson book #4! I'm enjoying this series more & more, with every book I pick up from it. They just keep getting better!!
Mercy Thompson #4. Picking up where #3 left off, Mercy is once again embroiled in local supernatural politics, manoeuvring and potential death. I'm not going to discuss the plot (alrhough it's absorbing) but I will highlight that this series continues to delight. Especially with the consequences and follow-ups of events in previous books. Definitely read, and read in order!
Two more added into the never-gonna-get-around-to-reading-it box. These Hastings stores are close shutting down.
