Yeah, I don't think anyone is gonna buy this copy. I would hope not.
I hate you. What happens to "soon to be" after the film is released. What real purpose do these badges serve other than being repulsive. And while at it, go ahead and put it almost dead center. Good job. On a lighter note, I might dive into this book later today.

#LiteraryTypos - I saw this happening on Twitter today and I just had to jump in, head first. 🤗
I was burning a few minutes at a Half Price Books, earlier today. The first thing I noticed, they rearranged part of the store. Then, while I was browsing the History section, the shiny spine of this book caught my eye. It's a gorgeous coffee table book. It's mainly Civil War era photographs, paintings, several maps, and a few current day photos. And there are many paragraphs to read, throughout the book.

I'm on a cellular network which is why these screenshots look low-res. 😕

Today 01/27/2017: George Orwell's 1984; the Kindle, the physical book, and audible editions are currently in the top ten Amazon best sellers. That is insane. I currently own 1984 in two of those three editions.
Do publishers really need to remind us of the previous book in a series. Just look at that giant orange circle. How could you not.
Exceptionally designed fonts and typography can almost be porn to me. Leave it to a font company to publish a book about their fonts. I do want it, some day.
The store is still here. Whew! Turns out they were updating the sign's font.👍
New mass market edition. The weight of the book feels light. Just don't screw up this new film adaptation.
Welp, this does not look good.😕
Don't like the page number font. Haven't read the book.
No, this is not real. But if it was, I see Millie Brown as a slightly younger version of the character in a TV series adaptation.
This was on a shelf right right above The Roosevelts book. Again, I wasn't planning on buying books. 2/2
No, I haven't watched the documentary. And I wasn't planning on buying books today. Doing a quick flip through, the book looks lovely. So I decided why not. 1/2
In a few minutes; seeing it up on the big screen. Still haven't read the book.
Someone at this Barnes and Noble doesn't know their ABCs.
This image is from Goodreads within the Kindle mobile app. I would like to finish the book by this Saturday night.
Sometimes it pays off to vist a bookstore again, a week later. I found two copies of Song of Susannah. I'm still on book two and I've already ordered book three.
I found Plastic Purge interesting because I try to not be wasteful when it comes to using plastic. I'm old enough to remember a time in U.S. history where so many damn plastic products did not exist.
The end of an era. Apparently last week was Hastings' final week. Hastings was the last retail store, located in the same location, left over from my childhood. My small home town no longer has an actual bookstore. Walmart does sell magazines and novels but you know it's slim pickings. The closest town of New Braunfels no longer has it's bookstore. It too was Hastings. Next town is San Marcos. No more Hastings, but they do have a Half Price Books.
I was able to got started early. Should have time to read again tomorrow. Currently on page 72. It feels like I'm reading this book faster than I read Cujo. That's a bonus, I guess.😀
It's here. I'll start reading it later this week. This particular version is published by Hodder & Stoughton (UK). I feel the newer American covers visually look too obvious. These British covers stir your imagination. Also, the book feels lighter due to the paper weight they use.
Discovered this is narrated by King. I could listen to him speak all day long. Plus I've got the credits to burn. But this going to have to wait. I'm not done with Under the Dome and still waiting for the second Dark Tower book to arrive.
Completed it just now. The final battle was totally worth the wait. Painful conclusion. Maybe a little too much story afterward. And I want an explanation of the closest.
Just purchased this ebook. I recognized the name from the movie adaptation, which I've never watched.😳
Two more added into the never-gonna-get-around-to-reading-it box. These Hastings stores are close shutting down.
992 pages packed in my hand. Alas I placed it back on the shelf. I'm already reading two King books with several more waiting. Plus The Drawing of the Three is on its way to me right now. Also this King book seems to be one of those love it or hate it.
Today was a good shopping day. After I got home I discovered I have the ebook for The Color of Magic. Oh well.
Display at Half Price Books on Lamar in Austin, TX. All the little signs have examples why the book is banned.
I was hoping the new cover would be the larger paperback format. Oh well. I do have the ebook and audio book.
Today was a good shopping day. The small retail chain Hastings is just about done.☹️
Just finished Audible version featuring actor Bronson Pinchot as the narrator. He is a joy to listen to. He does a great voice for Flagg.
Another damn good shopping day.💰 This Hastings is in San Marcos, TX. They all shutdown for good come next month.
Pretty good shopping day. Hastings has a going out of business sale. They've got about three weeks left.
