It's time for Christmas mugs! 🎄
It's also time for Christmas books but I'm still working on this trilogy. 🤷♀️

My book club chose the second book in a trilogy for our next meeting 🤷♀️
I don't really care for fantasy and the dialogue seemed stilted. I know Annika was learning the language, but why did everyone else sound robotic to me?
That being said, the love story was sweet and the concept interesting.
PS - the ocean treasures are some of my own collection 😊
Book #2 in this trilogy felt repetitive at times. It does have nice imagery. It wasn‘t terrible, but I don‘t think I would have stuck with it if it wasn‘t the second of three.
I was surprised how much I enjoyed Annika and Sawyers story. I was worried the naive mermaid would get annoying but she was really well written and her innocence and honesty brought a great balance to all the characters.
The plots that Nora weaves is incredible. Sawyer and Annika's story is heartbreakingly beautiful. How the quest for the stars with those 6 amazingly talented spirits will conclude as me intrigued.
These trio of books are on my favorite list ... and not just because of the covers #7Days7Covers #CoverCrush 3rd day enjoy 😉 📖 @gradcat @HOTPock3tt @tpixie @Connster
I was a bit disappointed. The attraction or rather the connection between Sawyer and Annika doesn't touched me. It's kind of 'boring'. Annika is too pure but sometimes her wanting to learn new things does put a smile on me. And sometimes her “it's pretty“ also annoyed the hell out of me. Villians are added in this book. #paranormalromance
3.5⭐️
This was just as much of a fun quick read as the first but with a change in perspective. For me, a lot of the stuff in the book was a little too predictable. But the amount of importance that food plays in this trilogy makes up for a lot of it. Actually seeing characters on these huge quests still having to do things like clean and cook food is probably my favorite part.

#currentlyreading Bay of Sighs by Nora Roberts. She is definitely my favorite guilty please just the right amount of story, adventure and romance. This book is the second in her Guardians Trilogy And it is so good.

My TBR for April. They‘re all library books, some can be renewed. I‘ve got my work cut out for me!!😬
On to book 2! I'm honestly surprised at how much I enjoyed book 1 :)
This is the second book in the trilogy and it continues the story very well. I liked that this book was from a different character's point of view from the first book.
Such a great follow up to the first book and it kept the momentum going. This was Sawyer and Annika's story. Annika reminds me so so much of Starfire from Teen Titans Go. She talks like her and fights like her, it's hilarious and I love it. The six have become much closer and the set up for the third and final book was well done and not in your face. I can't wait to finish this series!
My #kissingbook. Haven't finished it yet, but forgot I was reading it. Which pretty much sums up the last few Nora Roberts books; for me anyway. But the cover art is spectacular! #riotgrams #catsoflitsy. Photobomb courtesy of Huxley the cat 😻
I really enjoyed this. I liked Annika so much more than Sasha, and Sawyer is super likeable. I didn't totally buy their connection though. Can't wait for Ireland and Riley and Doyle's story!
Considering I picked this up from where I left off a month ago before going on holidays, I'd have to say it wasn't thaaat great. I think the first book in the series set the tone for the rest of the books, because the story just didn't interest me that much. Like I said for the first book, this series remind me too much of others I've read before. But given that I finished it in a few hours (skimming through some of it), it wasn't that bad either.
The mermaid one. I loved it - Nora Roberts is a master storyteller...it's a mermaid and time traveler- yet she makes it so believable. Can't wait to pick up the last book in the trilogy! #litsyatoz ✅B
Book 2 in the Guardians trilogy. Or as we call it in my house: The Mermaid Book! Well done, I read it in just a couple of days and am looking forward to the final book in the trilogy! Also unless I finish my ebook today, this is my final read for 2016.
Unwillingly awake at 4 am due to leg cramps so I decided to work on finishing my last read of 2016.
Last book of the year! Loved the first book and have been looking forward to this one for awhile. Extra points cause the cover is sparkle-y
Given the date, I'm pretty sure this is my final 2016 read. Also I may finish an ebook as well but Bay of Sighs is my priority since I received the final book in the trilogy for Christmas.
This definitely isn't one of my favorite trilogies (that would be Inn Boonsboro) - pretty cover though!
I am in dire need of this sweatshirt - it combines two of my favorite things: books and science! 💙📚🔬💙
Tonight's entertainment while I wait for my son to get home from Cub Scouts.
Probably one of my absolute recent favourited. I've read it twice and it still makes my heart flutter, lol. I'm in love with both of the leads.
"A man might suffer through unimagined pain for a cause, and die for it. But love? It defeats him"
"Brother, when beauty falls into your hand, you hold on to it while you can. You could be dead tomorrow."
I have been in a weird reading mood lately, and because she is so dependable, I pulled this Nota Roberts book out of my library pile. Standard and consistent Roberts fare which I enjoyed raced through as always (her books are always so readable for me). Though at the risk of sounding prudish, I wasn't really sure what to make of the man-mermaid sex scene...Just thought I would share that mental imagery with y'all!

Ahhhh, Nora Roberts. Her trilogies are so great, and if I need to give my brain a little bit of a rest I turn to her stories. I love them, but I can also read them on autopilot, heh.
Brought this on vacation with me because sometimes you just need some Queen of Romance. I'm all for highbrow lit, but Nora Roberts is my book comfort food. #notevenguiltypleasure
Amazing sequel to Stars of Fortune, I feel like the fantasy elements were way more prevalent in this novel, especially as the story progressed.
This Nora Roberts trilogy is a paranormal romance where one of the characters is a mermaid who has three months with legs to help on a quest. She's a little dippy but makes for some good humor.
I took a pause on Gone With the Wind to read this next installment in the Nora Roberts series because it came available at the library. I loved this second book and I am sad that the third one doesn't come out until December. Guess I will have to reread them before it comes out :)
Second in the series, a little far fetched with the characters but a lovely romance...
You know you're on Weight Watchers when even a simple scene of eating gelato is like porn. Great...now I want gelato...🍦
Supervising an event at work where no one wants to come to my floor = great reading time to get the last few chapters of "Bay of Sighs" in.
Wonderful! Love how she weaves all the characters & their stories together. Can't wait for the 3rd!!
I'm a sucker for a Nora Roberts trilogy! I love series books!!!
