Jane finds herself in the mist of helping her best friend plan his wedding, figuring out the location of her dark mysterious beau, fending off Mama Ginger's suggestions, and finding her solstice in an occult book store. Maybe she should tell her grandma about the suspicion she had of her grandma's new love, or maybe just let things play out in their own and allow her to become another victim.

I loved this installment of this series!

Jane finds mysterious notes in spidery writing, An even more mysterious sure, and then Jane's boss Mr Wainwright has an unfortunate end and leaves everything mostly to Jane. In all fairness she contacts his only living relative, Emory, his nephew who is quite strange and always has been. But then more mysterious notes and now Zeb and Jolene are expecting!! How will Have figure it all out, deal with Emory, and deal with her worrisome family?

This book reminded me of Sookie Stackhouse a little. Jane becomes fired, drunk, broke down, shot, and woke up a vampire! Not the typical girl next door anymore, Jane has to figure out what being a vampire entails and find out who is trying to frame her for murder. The characters a well written, the plot is a little predictable but it was an enjoyable read!!

The Book of Life | Deborah E. Harkness

This final book in this trilogy had everything you want in a book. Dianna and Matthew are still selling the elusive Book of Life while trying to avoid the ones that are trying to tear them apart, a couple of them would love to do just that very literally. Will Dianna ever learn to control her magic and to what extent is she willing to go through to do just that? Every question is answered in this final installment! Great read!!

The final installment of the series, I'm so sad to see this series go! All the loose ends and questions that were left unanswered, are tied up and answered in this book. I have all the feels in this book!! I couldn't put this book down! If only there was a spin off series from this one, it would be perfect!!

If you loved Matthew and Diana's story in A Discovery of Witches, then you definitely need to find out the other half in Shadow of Night!! Diana learning more about herself, get powers, and her family in this book brought many new things and questions to light! The ever elusive book could possibly be within reach, but at what price? This book answered many questions but had left me on the edge to find out what happens next!!

At first, listening to this book I was bored with the world building, but before I knew it I was on chapter 5 and was wholely hooked into the story between Diana, Matthew and Ash Mole! It's 24 hrs of discovering the mysteries of Diana and her parents' deaths. Highly recommended!

This book was a suggestion to me and I thought I would give it a shot. It took me awhile to get into it seeing as this is not my usual read, but once I did, I had to find out what happened next!! Filled with time travel and historical romance, this was an excellent book!!

Alina tests the theory if a grisha can have more than one amplifier in this book. The Darkling had been saved from the last book by his followers and is coming after Alina and everything she is holding onto including Mal. But Mal and Alina are having to cope with Alina's new found power, the grisha at the little palace, and the princes. This book has kept me wanting to know what happens next constantly!

This book kept me on edge! It's a teen/YA book that was recommended to me by a friend and I am happy she did! I fell in love with the main characters and at one point was very very angry at the main character! But the plot twisted and the ending left me wanting more!! Jumping onto the second book ASAP!! Thank you Catherine for the recommendation!!

This series is exactly what I've been looking for! The suspense, story line, plot twist, and characters are wonderfully created! Jane and beast are by far my favorite characters so far. I like that beast is her own character and not just an animal Jane can shift into. The plot twists are great because they aren't predictable like other books are! Highly recommended!!

I'm loving this series! I love the action, I love the characters, I love it all!! This is what I've searched for after reading Anita Blake!! Thank you Faith Hunter for giving me the stories I have yearned for!! Jane kicks butt but is still all woman!! The world building is great and the fact that you get a preview into the next book at the end of each book is wonderful!!

Many sequels lack the elements to make a good book, but this book is an EXCELLENT sequel!! This book picks up from the last and it takes off on a twisted ride! Jane gets questions answered all the while trying to keep her bestie Molly and her kids safe from the potential threats to all of them. But you can't be in two places at once and the plot twist again! Great story! Highly recommended!!

I needed a break from the books I read, the books that were the same thing over and over just retold either by the same author or copycats! This was an interesting tale that broke the chains and provided a new outlook on were's and vampires that I really enjoyed! And introduced a few creatures I had not encountered before! Coming from a similar background as Nell, I found her relatable and love her!! I can't wait for the next book!!

After reading the Soulwood series I wanted more from the main story, so I downloaded this book. I can compare this book to the early Anita Blake books, which I absolutely loved and some of the best books I have read. This book gave me what I have been searching for in a book: the mystery, the twisted plots, strong main characters and an unpredictable ending! I love the details in this book and in the scene depiction! I highly recommend this book!!

After reading the Guardian series, this seemed so much like a retelling in a different setting. Still a group of six people sent by a benevolent goddess to fight an evil entity and fight within three books. I became very bored very quickly, trudged through the book and have moved on to another book by a different author.

I found this story to be interesting and confusing all at once! I found parts of it hard to follow and many holes were left in the end! I really hope there will be a sequel to fill in the holes that were left and answers all my questions!! Because I was left with many questions!! Otherwise good story and book! I loved that there were no curse words or scenes that my ten year old couldn't listen to with me!

I got interested in this series after watching the TV series. Let me just say the book is SOOOOOOO much better!!!! There are many many differences in the TV series and the book but the book flows and has so many details that is left out of the TV series!! If you love Charlaine Harris' books, you'll love this one too!!

A great sequel that answered questions that lingered and left more to be answered! I have truly enjoyed this series so far and find the vast differences between the book and the TV series refreshing. The book is so much better and has more things going on than the TV Series! If you like Sookie, you'll like this series as well! Plus you get to meet an old character from a Sookie book! The secrets of the people in Midnight are slowly being revealed!

So it picks up where it left off and through the page turning chapters, so much unfolds and new questions arise! The emotions this brought me were curiosity, suspense, anger, happiness, sadness, heartbreak, and joy (not in that order)! This leaves me wondering how the next book is going to unfold when the Bone Carver's prediction will happen, and many more things! If you enjoyed the first two books, you have to read this book! You won't regret it!

What a beautiful book!!! I have cried good tears throughout most of the book! So many stories of the different women I could relate to and feel the same needs they were describing and then to read the response that God would have for his daughters just would fill my eyes with tears at the wondrous love God has for all His children. I highly recommend this to all my fellow lady friends!! It will uplift your spirit and refresh your soul!!
