I will admit, I wasn't sure about this one because the beginning seemed to point towards a paranormal thriller, but thankfully it became the usual Miranda thriller and I was glued to the mystery unfolding!

I was off yesterday and I made a trip to the bookstore... to buy more books of course! I finished Come Find Me and the latest episode of Strawberry Spring, and then started Nothing Left to Lose.

Read this for my #LMPBC group, and even though it‘s not usually my go-to genre, I got soooo into it. Not too scary to give you nightmares- just creepy enough for you to audibly say “what the fuq” and make your husband ask you what‘s happening. Fun mystery! | Whoops, forgot to tag my teammates!
Does anyone have Bookly Pro? I‘ve been using it for the last few months, and I really enjoy it, but I only can add one more book before they either have me get Pro, or I have to delete other books. Thoughts? Advice? You can get a lifetime subscription for only a bit more than a year, so maybe I should just go for it. Is it worth it??
I enjoyed this one a lot! Teens Kennedy and Nolan, who have both suffered great losses, are brought together by an odd radio frequency signal. They start to investigate and as the days go by, they find that not only does it seem like the signal was meant for only them, but also that their pasts could be connected. A solid YA thriller!

I was excited to see this author had a new book and then realized it‘s a teen book, not adult fiction. I didn‘t know this author even wrote teen books but gave it a whirl. I felt that it read like a kid‘s book, and not all “teen” books do, with some very convenient plot points and shallow exploration of some characters and story. I thought it was okay, but very dark for a teen story. I prefer her adult fiction. #elvis #catsoflitsy #petsoflitsy
This story is interwoven, where the two stories start out completely different. Then they seem to merge and then peel apart again, and you are reading and wondering what is the connection, is it even there, how are they linked. There is still a little bit of the unknown, but I think that may be there intentionally, to leave us thinking. I also find with the books I've read by this author that what you think at the beginning is no what is true.
Work actually closed early because of severe weather. Brought patients in early. Now home watching the news as there are tornadoes all over the area. Gonna try to hunker down and try to finish this book if this girl will let me.
As a recently new fan of Megan Miranda, I thought I'd start this one next. Still reading I'll Be Gone In The Dark by Michelle McNamara but have to read that one in pieces.

Miranda is my new Fave
This was a solid YA mystery. Two teens become connected through an odd frequency signal. They have both suffered loss and are looking for answers. I did audio and thought both narrators did a great job.
“How often the danger lurks inside our own homes. How often we let it inside without realizing it.” A finely crafted and twisty convergence of two teems dealing with loss. Engaging and emotion-packed.
This book was so good! I inhaled it! I loved all the twist and turns. Just when I thought I knew what was happening another twist was thrown in. I loved that it was told from both Nolan's and Kennedy's point of view. I also didn't have any clue who the killer was until it was revealed!
I am still trying to figure out how it is already Sunday night and wondering were my weekend went. Spending tonight reading a new book with my boy! 📚🐶📚🐶📚🐶
On to the second book of the day! I was super-excited to see this on our New YA Releases shelf! 😍 #comefindme #meganmiranda
It‘s a Happy #BookBirthday to my friend and local author Megan Miranda!
She‘s also heading out on her book tour soon!

Book 8 of 2019: Um, this YA thriller had me SHOOK. Fantastic writing and characters, plot twists that were ACTUAL TWISTS, and a satisfying ending. Five stars!
