#ReadAway2024 #SeriesLove2024 I‘ve really enjoyed this trilogy. I liked the characters and the constant surprises. And I look forward to Spectacular, an illustrated holiday novella that‘s being released soon. Recommended.

Finally! This scholar has the best book recommendations and today I was able to take a photo of her with the latest book recommendation. I officially feel old as I am now labeled…”The Book Lady”.
My reading stats for January 2023 📚
I read a lot more this month than I anticipated 😊 this makes me happy as I fell out of reading last year.
So happy to be back into it.
Tagged my favorite book from January, this was a hard choice as I read a lot of good ones. I just loved the Caraval series so much. 🎩✨️
"Occasionally, there are minutes that get extra seconds. Moments so precious the universe stretches to make additional room for them."
I loved this series so much!
The storyline, the characters, and the fates were all so interesting. This series is a must-read if you like magic.

I flew through this series. Such a great story, even if I wanted to shake the character every once in awhile for making bad decisions.
“Her pain shattered when he kissed her back. Everything was a tangle of tongues and blood and heartbreak as Jacks continued to take her sorrow.”
“Her emotions were bruised and bleeding. And for a moment she hoped that they‘d bleed out. Then maybe it wouldn‘t feel so impossibly painful, or so hard to breathe and think and feel anything but agony.”
The Fates have been freed, allowing them to wander among the people and play their disturbing games. Much of the magic and mystery that brought this series to life was put to the side for more upfront and immediate conflict. The Fates were intense villains with grotesque abilities, but the focus always remained on the character‘s romance. #youngadult #romance

What happened? This trilogy probably should‘ve stayed a duology- I‘m not sure Garber originally intended for this installment to be written as the story is pretty thrown together and some elements seem to contradict the previous installments. For example, I didn‘t believe in Legend‘s sudden inability of love and I wasn‘t scared of or intimidated by the “big bad,” as that was literally all he was- a total stock afterthought.
I was so looking forward to this book and it ended up being just a huge disappointment. Scarlets side story/romance was irrelevant and annoying. And tella totally should have ended up with jacks, it just would have made things so much more interesting
Satisfying end to the trilogy, still think Caraval is the best. Would love to have books about the fates and deck of destiny.
I loved this entire trilogy and loved the ending!! #bestbookof2019 #auldlangreads @OriginalCyn620 @Alwaysbeenaloverofbooks
A decent ending to the trilogy, however I liked the second book best of the three. That usually doesn‘t happen very often.
Not going to lie, I‘m a little surprised I stuck it out this this series. Found the last book disappointingly bland.
⭐⭐⭐⭐.5. It wasn't as good as the first book and then Jacks just disappears without a trace when he was portrayed to be so inlove with Tella. Anywho finished the series!
Currently working my way through this with my morning coffee. It's a fun read, but feels lackluster compared to the previous two.
I can appreciate that the writing of a trilogy is probably a hard thing to keep neat and tidy. But, oh, I was disappointed by this final piece! Not by the conclusions for the characters... That was fine. But how they got there.
In this book we were introduced to, pretty much, the entire contents of the deck of destiny. Nuggets of information were chucked into the story and never picked up on. It felt rushed and repetitive..... Such a shame!
Found this #fanart on tumblr really enjoyed this series. Had some issues with how it was wrapped up, but overall I did like the journey. - so for my #teamstoker I count this as 2pts one for finishing a book and one for participation @TheReadingMermaid
This is one of my current reads and reminds me of the #spell prompt for #chillingphotochallenge it definitely has me on a spell, totally hooked and Legend is one magical character #teamstoker @TheReadingMermaid
What a great ended to a fantastic series spoiler Legend finally told Tella he loved her.
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 4/5. Great ending to this trilogy!! I loved that all questions were answered. #bookbento #caraval
Happy Friday! I‘ll be looking more forward to Fridays after next week - so sad Summer Break is almost over! Book pictured is Finale - one I‘m hoping to start this weekend! Also featuring my favorite coaster - can you tell I love my dogs?

Very excited about this one!! Anyone read it yet??
I absolutely loved the ending of this series... although I was sad to leave the world of caraval I know it will always be there for me like an old friend!

After taking a few attempts to get into Caraval I'm glad I stuck with it because I enjoyed Legendary more but I loved this ending. Beautiful imagery and relavent character development.

I‘ve had this book in my possession, a birthday gift, for over a month. I can barely stand to begin reading it, knowing as soon as I do, this beautiful series will begin to end for me.
I love all the twists and turns these books take!!! #wildbook #30junebooks @howjessreads
This was so good!!
I‘m sad this is the last time I‘m going back to Caraval, but it was such a good ending!!!

I got really lucky when scrolling through the available audiobooks!! I've obviously started Finale, so I'm well under way. I'm listening at 2.5x speed, so I should be able to get through these without a problem over the next 9 days.
Finally time to get back to Litsy and reading. School and work has calmed down enough for me to do this!
I found this final book in the trilogy rather disappointing. Too much “He loves me / He loves me not” & the Fates were a bit of a letdown. Overall, I‘m glad it only ran to three book as I think more would have made it outstay it‘s welcome. 3⭐️
#60 time to finish up this world. I‘m excited to read it but I don‘t want to finish it 🙇🏻♀️ #thestruggleisreal
I loved it, all the twists and turns made it a great adventure. This world was so well done I love the magic and the love and the even the pain. 5⭐ Julian, Legend and Jacks are great characters I love the mystery behind them and all the love and trouble they cause.
❤📚🎪
🌟🌟🌟It‘s time. I wish I was able to start reading sooner this evening. I may be up all night relishing in the magic 🌟🌟🌟
I've read mixed reviews for this book but I really enjoyed the last installment in the #Caraval series. I do agree that it sometimes felt a bit rushed and too neat but as far as conclusions go, I'm pretty happy with this one. It was interesting to see these characters outside of the game and there wasn't a dull moment. I loved learning more about the Fates. Also, I am now more in love with Julian than ever before. ❤️

Started this during our school readathon and have to say it's the best yet and helps tie together all those parts of the other books.
