It‘s a story about a boy who decided to have sex with his best friend just to see if he is really gay. At the same time the best friend is wanting to do this for a social experiment. Not knowing that decision would have consequences Maxie reveals she is pregnant and wants to give the baby up for adoption. Where Ben wants to take custody of the baby and raise the baby. I really enjoyed how this story moved and how it was from Ben‘s point of view.

a story about a kid who goes away to a juvenile detention center for a crime he didn‘t do. On top of that he is released at a time that coronavirus is spreading throughout the world. This book touched my soul in such a way that is so hard to describe. I could feel the pain and the suffering of the characters as I still remember when the virus was spreading and we didn‘t understand what was going on.

I love going into books not knowing anything about the story. This story is about two girls who enter the United States illegally trying to seek asylum. They get caught and are held while it‘s decided if they will get asylum or not. The girls escape and that is where the story really begins. I listened to the audiobook which I really enjoyed. 4*

I found this book so much fun to read. The characters were so different from each other but went so well together. I have had this on my radar for so long and I am glad I finally got to it. I‘m giving this book a 4.5 because I did find it a little wordy. It kind of felt like the author wanted to hit a certain number of words to publish this book. Overall a fun read.

CoffeeK8 I have a soft spot for this book, and love it, but agree it can be a little wordy 9mo

Fairy Tale is about a boy who one day he hears a dog barking and finds a man who has fallen off a ladder. Not knowing that this choice by helping this man was going to change his life forever.

BookNightOwl Stephen King writes with such great imagination. Is so descriptive with his writing that everything you read becomes such a clear picture in your mind. This book was filled with so many characters from all types of fairy tales that you read as a child or even as a grown up. I liked how it was not as spooky as some of his books can be. Very entertaining. 2y

I picked up this book because it was set in the upper part of Michigan and I am from Michigan so I was intrigued. This book is about a single mom who is just trying to do what is best for her daughter so when she is told that the house they are renting is being turned into a vacation rental she tries everything she can to find somewhere to live without changing her daughters whole world.

BookNightOwl
I really enjoyed the narration of this book. I like how it was written and I really like the main character and her daughter. I understand some people have pride and don‘t like to take the help when it is needed but I am not one of those people. I would have taken help from
Everyone who offered it. Especially if I have a child to look after. Overall I did like the book and I gave it a B+

There are so many signs that show Audrey why she should say I don‘t or is it just cold feet. Then unexpectedly Josh‘s sister brings a date to the wedding who Audrey felt like he was the one that got away. This is when things don‘t go as planned.

Audiobook read by author!!! This is a book about a boys journey from Guatemala to the United States on his own without family at 9 years old. It describes what he went through to try to get to his parents who were already in the States. I put myself In his family perspective not knowing where he was. If he was dead or alive.
