A beautiful yet sad story about taking risks and having a dream. A strong set of characters- Colby, a man in charge who of his family‘s farm, Morgan, looking for fame and Beverly escaping her abusive husband. Fate draws all three of them together but is the weight of the past just too much.
A wonderful love story written by Nicholas Sparks with a twist. Written beautifully about love for our families and what lengths we will go to protect them.
I used to be a fan of Nicholas Sparks & then his stories became extremely predictable. Despite finding out he was kinda a piece of shit it didn't ruin the stories I loved....but this book was just a never-ending stream of meah. I won't call it unreadable ,it just wasn't very good.
I haven't read a Nicholas Sparks book in ages. I've loved his past books, which is why I was eager to get my hands on this one. This wasn't as good as I was anticipating. There are two storylines that have you wondering the whole time how they were eventually going to intersect. What happened was not at all what I was expecting. I thought it was just an okay read overall! Nothing to gush about. 3 stars
In my opinion, you can‘t go wrong with Nicholas Sparks. This book didn‘t disappoint. I was so curious to see how what appeared to be 2 separate stories ended up blending together. The story pretty much left me guessing until the end. I‘d love actually be able to hear the songs that the characters wrote in this book if they exist. Is they don‘t, they should! This would make a great movie!!
This book covers more serious subject matter than Sparks typically covers. It was a good book, but some points seemed a little rushed.
Dreamland by Nicholas Sparks is told in dual perspectives. In the first perspective you have Colby who is an inspiring musician who works on a farm. In the second perspective is told by Beverly who runs away from her abusive husband with her 6 year old son.
As a nurse who has worked in the cath lab I absolutely appreciate the research he did and the accuracy of these details!! ❤️🩹

I finished The Last Time I Lied and was very underwhelmed with it… I wanted to finish it because I thought I knew the twist and was right! I‘ll give Riley Safer another chance though!
I‘m behind with my Nicholas Sparks books, but I‘m starting this one today! I‘ve heard great things! Thank you again Eadie!!

Book #58 done for 2022. This was different from other Nicholas Sparks books, it was written from two different characters perspectives and for quite some time I wondered how they were related or tied together. In the end it came together and was very sweet, like all Nicholas Sparks books!
If you know me, you know that I love Nicholas Sparks! I‘m not much into romance, but I make an exception when it comes to him!! I came home to this amazing gift and I don‘t know who to thank!! Thank you! Thank you my friend!! Please let me know who sent it!! ❤️❤️❤️

Crossed a few things off my bucket list this weekend!
1. Met my favorite Author (Nicholas Sparks)
2. Got a signed copy of his new book (Dreamland)
* I haven‘t started this book yet. I‘m currently in the middle of 3 different books 😅
I had to stop and pick this up today. Nicholas Sparks will always be special to me as he was the author that hooked me into reading as an adult.
Excited to get into this one!
