No children for me to share this with, but it's still an intentional and purposeful read. I love how Trevor Noah's brain works. #58-2024

A very fun, quick summer read. Far fetched and Cinderella-esque, but sweet and fun, did I say fun yet? What could go wrong with a “collaborators with benefits” agreement? There are some VERY steamy sex scenes, especially at the end… Book #58 in 2024

This is #58 in a wonderful series that I still really enjoy. This one was no exception. While this series is set in the near future, they are not sci-fi but true mysteries (police procedurals) with a wonderful cast of characters and dark, cleverly plotted stories that include some humour. In this one Eve (a lieutenant in the NYPD) is after a psychopathic teenage killer. I recommend starting with the first one which is “Naked in Death“. 4.5/5!

Smythe-smith #2. Still cute. And not a Bridgerton in site. #58-2023

I had to drive a bit for work this week so I picked this up in audible and enjoyed it. A good ‘pick yourself up by your bootstraps cause no one else can‘ book with very like-able characters.Poppy was a little exasperating at times given her age, but she had good reasons for her self doubt so I didn‘t find it too annoying.I loved the dynamic between all of the characters and enjoyed how they developed.I picked out the snake early on.Book#58 in2023

This novel is kind of how Bridget Jones Diary would be if you added in some Murders and detective work. Good read. 😊

Grief can wreak havoc on a person and so can trauma, especially if it‘s buried way down deep and left untreated. That is the crux of this family‘s story. Not much of a mystery like I was expecting but still a good story. Book #58 in 2022
