Even though it's #8, it's a good stand alone book. I enjoyed all the twists and turns in this one. Easy to read, rounded characters and believable events.
Quite the winter thriller. What would you do if you were out of state at a conference, had a day or two free before going home and decide to join an old alumni and his friends on a little ski trip, and then the group gets stranded in a frozen remote area 30 miles from anything? And it gets weirder from there, with twists I didn‘t expect. It was ok as a stand-alone story as Isles & Rizzoli are a long-standing series I haven‘t read yet.
