A charming and heartwarming story - absorbing and delightful. A very enjoyable book. Gorgeous cover!

I just didn‘t get into this book at all. The book charmer in the book seemed to be a supporting character which I thought was weird. Had some heartwarming parts and relationships which were redeeming but overall kind of boring. ⭐️⭐️
❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
So it's been a really chaotic month for me with the ups and downs. I needed just an easy sweet mostly happy book and then randomly came across this one. I loved the story and the residents of Dove Pond so much. It admittedly took me a couple of chapters to figure out who everyone was. It was worth it though I immediately found the 2nd book of the series to read next.
Sweet, cozy magical realism rom-coms (along the lines of Sarah Addison Allen). The Dove Pond fast-read series pulled me right in!
Such a sweet story! 💕📚 I needed this kind of book after finishing Young Mungo, and it was a perfect palate cleanser! Just a sweet book about a town that needs to be revitalized and a librarian who talks to books! ☺️
Book Haul from a lovely (new to me) shop called the Reader's Cafe. Delicious London Fog, delicious food, and lovely atmosphere
Happy Saturday! 🎉🎉🎉 Took a nice long bookish walk earlier this morning, now spending some cozy reading time with my girl! 😸📚 I hope everyone is having a wonderful weekend so far!

I found Chaplin curled up and fast asleep on a pile of books earlier! 💕📚💕 He really does love books as much as his mom! 😸 #catsoflitsy #littenkitten #chaplin
📚:This book is about human connection- to each other & to spaces. It‘s also about the power of books to soothe, bridge, and calm. 📣: The book is part of a series about Dove Pond and it‘s residents. It is charming & cozy - like a fluffy sweater and a cup of hot tea on a rainy Fall day. I recommend this book for fans of Alice Hoffman and Heather Webber. If you need a whimsical, feel-good read, choose this book. 🛑: Alzheimer‘s, drug overdose
My best mornings are the mornings I intentionally wake up early enough for a quiet cup of tea, some candle love, and to read. For the record, French Breakfast is my favorite morning tea. However, I love all tea but Earl Grey. I drink tea morning, mid morning, afternoon, and evening. All day, every day.
A cozy Sunday evening with a doggo keeping a close eye on me.
This is a mostly light, sweet read about a magical town in NC and it‘s wonderful citizens. There are some heavier subjects addressed (a parent with Alzheimer‘s and mention of a suicide that happened in the past), but generally it‘s about a 3 generation family of women who move into Dove Pond and how they fit right in.
Reminiscent of Sarah Addison Allen‘s books.
This is a heart-warming feel-good book set in a small town. It's full of broken characters and a little magic, but love wins in the end. An easy and enjoyable read and a welcome respite from the stresses of life!
Loved this! Very light and whimsical. The characters are a bit broken, but lovable. Reminds me of Sara Addison Allen , who hasn‘t had a new book in quite some time (definitely missing her!).
Ok so technically I am ALMOST done with the last book in the Mr. Mercedes series, but by tomorrow I will be moving on! I have had the luxury of listening while I work lately so I have been able to tackle more books than I have in ages. I love being done with school and reading for fun again! #joyousjanuary readathon @Andrew65
This will be my last library haul for the foreseeable future. Got word today that my city is suspending its Library to Go curbside program due to increasing COVID cases. Can‘t say I didn‘t see this coming but it‘s quite a blow to this book nerd. Thanks to all you hard working librarians out there, breaks my heart that we‘re all still going through this.
It‘s Fall y‘all🍁 My hair‘s darker but my latte is cold because it‘s still hot out (although cooler than it had been).
The Book Charmer is a fairly cute story in which the title character plays a relatively small part (that is, she's not the main character, as one would expect). The BC is one of seven magical sisters raised in the town. The MC is a woman who comes to town with her aged & ailing foster mom (whose hometown it is) and niece that the MC is raising in-tow. We meet and get to know the townspeople, and see the MC warm to the community she vows to leave.
A good story line set in small town. First is interesting& magical with a librarian who talks to books! Later main focus shifts to Grace, new Townhall clerk who struggles over come loss of her sister, & takes the responsibility to look after her foster mom with dementia & her sister‘s kid. The power of friendship, love loss is well narrated. Somehow it was a slow read, predictable. I expected more about books I guess.🌟🌟🌟

For the first time I completed my goal for #readathon #jubilantjuly 4/4 books
Also started the tagged one. Who doesn‘t like magical story connected to books!😍😛 📚
This was a Debbie Macomber kind of PG feel good book. I love the setting of the quaint town and the close knit community...
But, I also feel as though it ended poorly. Almost unfinished. There were a lot of unanswered questions, which left me wondering what I missed. I even re-read the last few pages just to make sure.
All in all though, a sweet, easy read. I would recommend this to Debbie Macomber fans.
📖📚 Happy Reading! 📚📖
These are the 4 I managed to narrow down my choices to. #book4book
@AmyG @Alwaysbeenaloverofbooks @TheBookHippie have you read any of these? Any preferences?
Love cant cure a broken heart, but it can hold the two sides rogether while they heal.
I never kid about books.
Dont hide child. People who really live have a little wear and tear. Buts thats good. Its what makes us interesting.
Dont you think thats the beauty of a book?It can take you places you cant visit on your own, lets you meet people and see things you cant in real life.
When its a memory, you already know the outcome, so we believe it was an easier time. Looking forward is much more uncertain and so feels more complicated.
Life is made up of moments, good or bad. But while you dont get to pick all themoments, you do get to pick which ones you cling to.
Truth was a funny thing. On its surface, it was all good, a measure of a persons character. But under certain circumstances, truth was a burden you spared someone else. A weight you carried for them so they could continue on, free from the pain of reality.
Expectations, even inherited ones, could weigh on ones shoulders like bags of cement if they were unfulfilled.
Change never hurtnobody, child. Its those eho cant or wont change that lose.
Loneliness swamped Grace, seeping into her soul like icy water.
....flashlight and read until the middle of the night, devouring every last word the way a starving person would a meal, savoring each bite even while ripping furiously into the next one.
Super cute fluffy read. I wanted a tad more magic and things seemed to be very predictable but i enjoyed it. Who doesnt enjoy a book about small towns, magic and books that talk to you?!
Just a lil snack and a few pages before dinner time
Why cant I focus!!! I know its not the books fault.
