Book 4 done for my #24in48 #readathon
Rating: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
I really enjoyed To Best the Boys and I just loved Ren‘s character. She is strong, smart, and just amazing. The world building was well done too. I just wish we had more time in the labyrinth.

It was so amazing, and fun. I really enjoy the story and the writing style. The character was amazing and it wa a joy to get to know them.
I really like this book of dreaming impossible dreams, breaking free of society‘s restrictions and expectations, and finding your “tribe” who understands and loves you just as you are. This was a more enjoyable read for me than Weber‘s books about Sofi and Shilo Snow.
@cjbooklover has already finished this one, and my younger daughter is reading it now. That means it‘s my turn. I‘ve got to catch up so we can have family discussions about it!

I‘m hoping to start working on the backlog of #LitsyLove replies I need to write tomorrow! ❤️
I liked this way more than Weber's other work. There's rep of dyslexia, autism and down syndrome which I don't feel like are included all that much. The characters were easily the best part. Girl wanting education and having STEM experience.
I was expecting more time to be spent in the labyrinth itself and the ending wasn't really...complete. It just felt like they forgot or weren't sure how to finish things.
Give me some strong female characters tearing down some sexist bullshit
So the title is cheesey-as-heck but this was an easy read in a world that was fun to be immersed in.
It's a shame more time wasn't spent in the labyrinth that seems to be the focus of the book. There's a few questionable decisions by characters but overall I think it concludes nicely as a standalone.

I loved the premise for this one but unfortunately it fell flat for me. The world building was extremely weak and it left me feeling lost without a sense of the book‘s time period and setting. This seems to be a fantasy because basilisks, sirens, and magic are mentioned, but they are definitely an afterthought to the the story. I got no sense of how they fit into the world. I also thought that many of the characters were thinly sketched.
This one was kinda of different! Finished last week. 15/18 #BFC #bfcr2 #bookfitnesschallenge @wanderinglynn @julesG @LibrarianJen @laurenslibrary @Moony @CocoReads @britt_brooke @Reecaspieces
Thank you @kellyann28 for the chance to win Lock Every Door! To Best the Boys is probably the first book that has made me realize the importance of world building. The sweet ending still has me grinning. ☺️
The cover makes me think The Maze Runner. Hopefully the story doesn‘t. #bookhaul
Lacked the spark to make this a good book. The main storyline waited for more than 50% of the story to get started.
Everything about this book is 🙌🏽 kick ass girls that aren‘t pitted against each other despite the differences of what they want in life 👌🏼
This had a great girl empowering message. I loved the story and the characters were perfect. A really enjoyable quick read. The author did a great job of showing what can happen when a girl wants more than what is expected of her.
Ok, I enjoyed this much more than I thought I would! #ToBestTheBoys is a fast-paced read with interesting characters, including a smart, fierce and just all-around awesome heroine. Science plays a big part in this and though that's not my forte in real life, it made for a compelling story. I also loved the blend of the 19th-century-esque setting and the fantasy elements. Bonus points for all the banter and the sweet romance subplot. 🌟🌟🌟🌟
Just finished this late last night and I really enjoyed reading it. I thought it was a pretty cool concept. It reminds me a little bit of Mulan. Definitely check it out if you‘re looking for a book where the girl doesn‘t need a man to succeed.
"For the girl who's been told to quiet down, calm down, sit down, or just leave it to the men - this is for you."
So much love for this dedication. ❤️

Lol. Love this 😂
Debating starting this next; there‘s a group on Booktube who have their own “book club” and this is the book they are going to talk about at the end of April📖 #17of2019 #tbr
I loved this book! I found it to be really inspirational, action packed and not lacking in wonderful characters either. Highly recommend 4.5/5
There was a snafu with the mail this week and my poor bookish box got delivered to the wrong address! 😭 But thankfully it got handled and got back to me today which makes me SO FREAKING HAPPY because look at how awesome it is! A Strange the Dreamer pillowcase! A King of Scars shirt! A Harry Potter necklace and banner! AND A PRIORY OF THE ORANGE TREE PIN OMG! And the book I've never heard of but it looks great! 😍📚💕 #bookishbox #bookmail
