I loved this book! I found it to be really inspirational, action packed and not lacking in wonderful characters either. Highly recommend 4.5/5

My first #fairyloot box came today and I am absolutely obsessed with this Raven Cycle cushion cover!
I read this as part of the 'Year of Epic Reads' challenge for week 1: a book with your favourite colour on the cover (mine is purple, but mostly I was just dying to read this book)
It was amazing! This is such an important, eye-opening book in a time when racism is still such a huge issue in our society. It is beautifully written and I think it is wonderful that Tahareh Mafi is partly writing from her own experiences.
I just love holidays where you can just read unreasonable amounts of books 😊😊
Loved this fantasy book steeped in dangerous faerie magic. This is my first Holly Black book, but it won't be the last. It was a great audiobook too!
"I need you to be my person," Mags said. "I need to see you. And hear you. I need you to stay alive. And I need you to stop kissing other people just because they're standing next to you when the ball drops."
I couldn't resist such a festive book (with a great cover and sprayed edges)!
"Is this hell?" He asked, hoarse. Ruby laughed. "I wish," she said, "Welcome to purgatory. Care for some soup?"
There is nothing I love more than reading and tea 💜
This is definitely one of the prettiest maps out there, and the best part about it? It was designed by one of my favourite artists - Charlie Bowater
This book turned out pretty much exactly like I expected. It was a quick, fun, easy YA read that could please a wide variety of non-readers. As an avid reader, I have slightly higher expectations, but by no means was this a boring book.
3.5/5
The only thing that is getting me through my absurd amount of homework are my reading breaks 😅
"Even if surviving wasn't simple, or easy or fair.
Even if he could never be human.
He wanted the chance to matter.
He wanted to live."
I feel like you can tell a lot about a person based on their favourite book. I would never be able to choose! But I am currently reading 'The Summoning', gifted to me by my cousin because it is her favourite. So far I can see why...
