My favorite from this series & such a fun reread!
1️⃣ Pjs, work clothes, comfy clothes, pjs = 3, 4 if I walk the dogs
Weekends: ~4 depends if we leave the house
2️⃣ I think I‘ve got the right one in the series with the stylist character.
I‘ll tag another in case I‘m wrong.
Thanks for the tag @TheSpineView ! 🙌

A clever book I listened to, with lively characters and witty dialogue💗💗

I loved catching up with some old characters from the series while getting to know some new ones. Maybe the steamiest one in the series. I‘m blushing.
Taken at my nephew‘s beautiful, joyous wedding last weekend. Yes, in front of everyone.

My goal is to read
✅ the last 4 chapters of Braiding Sweetgrass
💍 16 chapters of The Wedding Party
🟰 20 chapters
I think this is going to be my last book of this series. I just loved Alexa so much and I was hoping she would reemerge again. But it looks like she will just be a side character through the rest of the series.
I actually really liked Theo... even with how Type A he is, I think I would like being around him.
The ending was my favorite part. ⭐️⭐️⭐️
If the other 2 books are better than this and The Proposal, please let me know!

We have tickets for Fiddler on the Roof in charlotte tonight, but the hubs had a work thing first. So I‘ll sitting in his office “lobby” with a book for the next hour. This doesn‘t suck at all. I‘m here for it 🤣
I realized I've read 2 other books from this series completely put of order....oops. This was really between so so and a pick. Like the other Jasmine Guillory books, this was a palate cleanser, but I didn't feel any attachments to the characters and just like I saw in a previous comment there was way too much pizza eating...there ARE other foods 😆
“how nice it was to be sleeping with a guy who didn‘t seem to want or need all the other bullshit men always wanted from her—parties, meeting their friends, all the big showy stuff she always dreaded. All she and Theo did was eat takeout on his couch, watch TV, and have great sex. It was heaven.
“Why had he never tried hiding in a kitchen during a party before? You got to be around the party, but not, like, right in the middle of it, do something at least semihelpful, and not get stuck in prying conversations. Win-win.”

Loved listening to this reread! This was my favorite book the first time I read the series, and that still holds up. It was also fun reading it directly after The Wedding Date since so much from that book is referenced here. Loved it!
I finished this one last night. While I enjoyed books 1 & 2, I didn‘t enjoy this one as much. I found Maddie to be too selfish and immature and I just didn‘t feel the chemistry between her and Theo.
However, the narrator, Janina Edwards, does a great job.
✨ Yes yes yes to a fun, light, breezy book after something so heavy! 💕
I will definitely be reading more Jasmine Guillory after this one! So good!!
What a freaking day. Thankfully I finished this up and got a happy ever after despite all the crazy in the Capitol today. #justtwoweeksleft #thanksgeorgia #bookspinbingo
Ah, now this was refreshing. Not quite enemies-to-lovers, but Theo and Maddie have that energy that grates on each other‘s nerves until it sparks. I loved visiting with previous characters! Guillory has a gift for creating believable, sympathetic characters.
I‘ve said it before and I‘ll say it again: Jasmine Guillory is one of the best romance authors I‘ve read. I love her characters, and her now this of making one of the background characters shine in the following book.

I‘m in north Louisiana, so we get some changes but not for long.
I love pumpkin pie, apple cider, apple cider doughnuts; and I make “Halloween nachos” with black beans, blue corn chips, and roasted pumpkin.

Third installment of The Wedding Date series. Fun to come back around to the likable couple that started the series while rooting for the current main characters. Now I‘m properly set up for a timely read of Royal Holiday which is next.
It‘s been fun to watch the story of Alexa and Drew continue while getting to know Maddie and Theo more. Sometimes though I feel like Guillory‘s conflicts get repetitive. Characters afraid to tell each other how they truly feel, etc. But I guess that‘s also just Rom Coms.
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I enjoyed the first two books in this series, but this is definitely my favorite so far. It was fun to follow Theo & Maddie, side characters from book 1, and to even go back in time a bit & see moments from the first two books from their perspectives.
I thought there was a great balance of heart & heat in this one, and am definitely keeping Guillory on my “must read” authors list.
A fun addition to this series. Good because it also let us catch up with people from the first book.
I loved that this book started with a scene from Guillory‘s first book THE WEDDING DATE and we got to see the night unfold from two different POVs! It also really tied together nicely with the first two books, and I‘m glad we got more of Alexa and the wedding planning. The storyline of Maddie and Theo‘s relationship was fine, but Alexa‘s probably my favorite character of the series, so I was more interested in that aspect of the story.

Also #readblackauthors @JoScho
My husband bought me this book to read on the plane ( we were to go to England for March Break) and since that was a bust thx to Covid, I decided the beginning of summer was the next best time to read “contemporary romance” apparently this author has a huge following and Reese picked an earlier book for her reading club 🤷🏻♀️ it was good. I won‘t go out of my way to read more from this author but who knows.
It‘s officially summer holidays now and I think I should stock up on some summer beverages to read with
Watching Maddie & Theo go from enemies to lovers to friends to in-love was really nice. While their characters are not my faves of all the ones in this series, it was entertaining to watch them attempt to be sneaky. More amusing was how that resulted! At the same time, due to Maddie's strong distaste for Theo, I didn't buy the falling in love as easily until near the end. It was still a great deal of fun to read though.
A handful of #pink books about #FallingInLove. #JamminJune #BoundTogetherJune

Another cute and fun romp from Guillory! I‘ve really enjoyed this series and will be ready to read the next one which comes out this month. The leads in this one were feisty and so obviously falling for each other despite their protests - I‘m a sucker for a happy ending!!
I liked this one about as much as I expected I would, based on how I felt about The Wedding Date. Fun read, but not necessarily a stand-out one for me. Guillory writes books with an interesting cultural perspective: urban, multi-cultural, young, career-oriented. I appreciate learning about the perspective!

I'm starting to become a big fan of Jasmine Guillory. Her stories just flow with dashes of all the things you love in a sweep away romance.
Oh how I love these books... so much fun to read and always gives me lots of feels! I also love how all of the characters are intertwined throughout all of her work!
Happy Valentine‘s Day! I‘m settling down with this fun (and hot!) read by Jasmine Guillory while the kids check out each other‘s gifts from their schoolmates. What about you? What are you up to?
Not my favorite. Essentially a story about hooking up. Not really an enemies to lovers romance as I expected.
Another light read and another knitting project. Book 19/100. Next up Station Eleven.
Another hit from J. Guillory. This one has some more saucy scenes than the other book of hers I read, and I feel like it‘s plot and the relationships were a little less complex. But it was still a treat.
The narrator for these audiobooks is incredible!! Highly recommend listening to these books.
While I find the trope of hate turning to love a little old, I still really liked the 3rd installment in this series. My only thing is that I feel like they eat pizza all the time! I feel like I would get tired of it. Reading about it did convince me to order pizza one night though 😆
