Just gotten my first tattoo! It's a quote from Warrior of the Wild by Tricia Levenseller and it's in her handwriting❤
No one commands me out in the wild. I will behave the way I want to. I will be who I am, and I won't hate myself for it.

I bought two books in March (well technically 4 but the other two can count for April) and then managed to snag this gorgeous Art Deco sun creation that went up for sale (one of those IG scenarios where you have to comment sold real fast - truely an exhilarating experience)
Overly bogged down by the romance. I was excited for this based off of the synopsis but it‘s YA and YA hyper focuses on romance instead of plot. This suffered so badly from insta romance and Rasmira was an annoying self wallowing in pity character that drove me nuts.
Tricia Levensellers books always are amazing, this was no different. I loved the plot and the character development with Rasmira, I also loved how strong and tough she is. The romance was on fleek and the world building was so good! Not to mention the plot twists and mysteries. I totally reccomend this book for anyone!

Tricia Levenseller has become an automatic buy author for me. I consistently love her books! This was such a good Viking inspired but completely new read! I loved Raz, Soren and Iric and learning about the wild and the creatures that live there. Highly recommend!
This was a really good book. There is a LGBTQ+ character in it, just a heads up for those who‘d rather not. It was very clean and I loved the story. Through the entire story I always questioned whether Soren would betray Rasmira. Butttttt nooo. He‘s good ♥️
I get immersed in pretty much everything Levenseller writes. I just wish she would dig a bit deeper in her work, we need a bit more showing and less telling and expounding upon the nature of relationships. Everything happens over the course of three months which seems long for a YA novel but I would have liked to see a long time span.
This book blew me away! I loved the characters and how although it was fully wrapped up as a stand alone I could see the author coming back and doing more stories set in this world. @tricialevenseller did such a fabulous job with this story!! .

A decent standalone YA fantasy.
I did have issues with some details in this book but it was a fun, fast read and I would recommend.
⭐⭐⭐🌠
This was such a fun read! I loved the premise, the writing, and Rasmira. She was already strong physically but learned so much about herself and what she was capable of during her banishment and gained the confidence to do what she needed to do. Loved the friendships in here too.

Hi everyone! I really enjoyed this book. Who doesn't like a strong woman fighting with a ax. It's about a girl getting banished by her father because she failed her test. She can return from the wild if she can kill the God. This is a single book. No worries it's not a series. #litsy #kindle #kindlefire #paperwhite #library #bookgeek #booklover
Can I just say that I love that she started this book off with a quote from Lord of the Rings 😍😍😍😍
Do you ever buy book boxes? I made a bookmark for the Unplugged book box. I ended up getting a subscription. It‘s so cool how they do play lists and a note from the author!!
This book grabbed me fairly early on. Rasmira is a likable character and I became interested quickly in her world. Warrior of the Wild was very fun and adventurous with a dash of romance. It kept me engaged and wanting to see it through to the end. Overall, I really enjoyed this book and would recommend for a YA Adventure. For my full review visit my blog.

I absolutely adore this book! Present tense because I will never not be thinking about it. Do yourselves a favour and read everything Tricia Levenseller has written and you won‘t regret it

This was the perfect book to read during testing week - it was pure fun!
I was expecting something with more details from Viking culture, but I think this is more accurately described as “inspired by” as there were a few things that didn‘t ring true. That didn‘t really detract from what was essentially a fun, adventure story
Another day of state testing! 👎👎👎👎
Tuesday was the first day of computer based testing and NY State‘s computer systems crashed and none of the kids could submit their tests... it was a complete shit show. So... they cancelled Wednesday‘s tests and spread them out for the rest of this week. 5th & 6th grade today, 7th & 8th tomorrow
This book started off a little slow, but it‘s finally picking up the pace a bit
Today is the start of NYS testing in our middle school 👎
For me, that just means sitting in a comfy spot, reading my book while 4 cute little 6th graders take their tests in the library. Easy day...

Of course all my library holds are coming in at once... I thought I‘d have a few weeks wait for Warrior of the Wild, so I‘m not sure how I‘m going to get through everything I want to read right now!
Clearly, I had some toddler assistance with the photo staging 😜
I loved this book! It a a quick easy read that I finished in a couple days. So far I have read all three books that Tricia Levenseller has written and I have loved them all! If you like strong women main characters then you will love this book. It has a feel of the Viking way of life, with a bit of life quest. You won‘t be disappointed!❤️
Oh my GOD. This book and author ughhhh I love it. Their so good and you can feel the characters emotions 😍😍😍
I loved it. I recommend this and the daughter of the Pirate king series. She writes books about girls who kick ass.
Levenseller's has this amazing ability to write concisely without underdevelopment the world and characters. The mc is a well rounded strong female just like in DotPK. The romance is adorable. It did lack historical detail. Basically all we got was "she's a Viking" BUT there's a lot of modern sexist hierarchy in the societies which kind of threw me. The Valiant and Sky in the Deep just have a better infusion of that Viking culture
I am beyond curious about this book Tricia Levenseller's Daughter of the Pirate King is a favourite of mine so I'm hoping I enjoy this one half as much if not more
Being gone for a month means coming home to so much #BookMail and #BookishMail ❤️ Totes, shirts, #BookSleeves , art prints, canvas print, earrings, bracelets, enamel pins, candles, tumbler, mug, gloves, lots of books and a good chunk of them signed! Some of these were gifts from @QuothTheRavenclawNevermore and she truly spoils me! She is someone I have remained friends with since kindergarten, and her love for books has always been beautiful 🙌
“I am both a woman and a warrior. And I will not let anyone cause me to forget.”
I‘m so happy to see more Viking YA stories! I really enjoyed this one even though the heroine annoyed me in the first few pages of the story. I loved her towards the end because of her strength and ability to grow from her past mistakes.
A well written story with awesome characters.

I‘m about to start this book. So excited.
Supporting our economy one book at a time. Haha more like one book haul at a time. 😂
I LOVE LOVE LOVE this book! I felt like I couldn't read it fast enough! Definitely strongly recommend for sure! So well written and so many ups and downs I never wanted it to end!
Snuggles and a good book! Loving this book and will have a review up for it on the blog on Saturday. Trying to be more active on there! Www.thebookmonsters.com

OMG THIS WAS EVERYTHING I WANTED!!!!!!!!!!!!! Tricia, you already had me with Daughter of a Pirate King but I am yours!! Lol 😂 #FanForLife I won this ARC in a #goodreads giveaway but I‘ve had it preordered from the moment it was available. I cannot wait to put the hardcover on my shelf! If you haven‘t read anything by Tricia Levenseller, go now! And preorder this beauty while you‘re at it! (Image is my bookshelfie for #24in48 challenge number 2)
I have received a few ARCs in the last couple of months, but this is the one I have been the most excited about! I read it in one sitting just like her first two. This is a stand-alone with plenty of action and I laughed out loud several times. I definitely plan to get this in hardback when it comes out. Now I just have to find a way to get a signed copy to match my DotPK/DotSQ books. I am pretty sure she has a fan for life with me. ❤️
5⭐'s. This was so awesome! Rasmira was such a strong female lead that didn't take crap from anyone. It was cool seeing her grow throughout the book. And Soren was such a cutie! Another great book by a talented author!
#BookMail #BookishMail The best part about the Bookish community is how amazingly kind everyone is, and when one fellow fan is giving away some items, it‘s really awesome when she is willing to give some to you! And, of course the #BookSleeve is hardback size from one of my fave sellers, BookBestiesUK. And last, but not least, the ARC of Tricia Levenseller‘s upcoming stand alone Book has arrived! I applied for it, and so excited I got it 🙌
