There are different versions of this legend, my favorites are the longer ones. I found a shorter version of the beginning from the web so I could share here for International Women's Day 2025.
I always liked the beginning, because I felt it hinted how men need to show respect to all woman... whether they recognize the woman as a Holy person or simply human.

Love Cary Grant, yet this is my favorite version of this movie. Especially that last scene, I believe Charles Boyer captured the intensity of the moment incredibly more than Grant did (sorry Carry 😘 Grant).

Also my second time reading The Stand for the #LosersClub with @BarkingMadRead
I first read The Stand in February 2020 so I'm forming a habit of turning to it in, ahem, "interesting times"

Hey!! I have a birthday wish!! Post pictures of your pets!! It‘s my 49th birthday and cuddling up to books is not always the best substitute to a pet. ( And/ or books and pets) So for my birthday could you guys post pictures of your pets? Please?! Our building has a no pet policy now. I think of what I would I would name my animals ( or children- but I‘m in peri-menopause now, lol) all the time, probably too much, lol. Fred, Barney for 2 males 😉

Even the audiologist couldn‘t hear me, lol. I love my mommy 🩷🩷😇 3) I am taking an online class 4) I am finally going to get my spinal stimulator removed!! I just 👇🏽

I‘m currently behind on the first two months picks, and I may have become slightly obsessed with watching Midsomer Murders so we‘ll see how March goes.

The Stock Market took a second-day tumble. Many are holding tariffs responsible, and as true as that may be, I am hoping that this is the beginnings of consumers finally uniting!

It has been 31 Days since little t has been in office...the chaos he has already caused America! And out of the 100 day countdown, we still have 69 days!
Time to fill up my coffee bean box, it is a mixture of three types of coffee. Coffee is my remedy to remain calm ☕🇺🇲🦅🇺🇸🙏.
I think I'm going to need a bigger stash of coffee beans for the remainder of the 3years+.
