I‘m not the biggest Fallon fan, but this is a good #PictureBook for a quick story time for really young kids, especially for animal sounds and identification. It‘s also pretty basic. I‘m not completely in love with the illustrations either. I had hoped for more. #BBRC #LetterY

marleed Every weekday - multiple times🤣🤣 I read this book. I literally own 100+ board books and my grandson will throw 95+ to the ground in my attempts to read them. But this one every day! The companion Mama book - nope it crashes to the ground. 4mo
Librarybelle @marleed 😂 I think Fallon has a huge fan! 4mo
Hooked_on_books The cover cows are super cute! 4mo

#SummerSpecial Day 11: This story is told in the voice of a young girl who proudly introduces her father to the reader #FatherDaughter; a father who often apologizes to her for activities they are unable to do together because he is not able to walk. While the father is shown in the first few pages as being in a wheelchair, other pages simply depict him as spending time with his daughter who enjoys his company. My review: https://wp.me/pDlzr-ppK

4 ⭐ This story was sweet. It‘s a great vocabulary lesson without being preachy or repetitive. Sam and Dad are a pair. But things happen and Dad wants Sam to consider if it is a “big” problem, or a “little” problem and how to tell the difference. The art work in this story is unique. The illustrator does a great job of portraying emotion and action in a still work. This book just works and would be a great edition to any library.

4 ⭐ I have been a big fan of Little Critter all my life. I can remember listening to the original 8x8 book and reading along to the record. Now little critter has entered the world of easy readers and it does work. It isn‘t as impactful or as charming as I remember, but it was still a lot of fun seeing Little Critter help out dad.

#SavvySettings Day 26: Fats‘ review: “In addition to the existing generation gap, Dad Runs Away With the #Circus illustrates the notion that everyone is entitled to dream and to make it come true. In Dad‘s case in the story, joining the #circus fulfills his lifelong dream.” Full review here: https://wp.me/pDlzr-39U

Adorable book. My hubby and I used to read this to our kids and now my son has been reading it to our grandbaby. 🥰 Do any of you have recommendations for books that focus on father/child relationships? It seems like most books are more about the mom and I'd love to think single dads have more options than we've found.
