pickThis book was so much fun! I‘m not usually a big fan of the royalty trope, but Emma Chase did it perfectly. It was sweet and funny, a grown up fairy tale.
Olivia is trying to save her family‘s bakery when Prince Nicholas walks in and propositions her. From there it‘s sweet romance, hidden agendas and high society events until it becomes true love.

pickI recently finished Royally Screwed by Emma Chase. I absolutely loved this book! The romance between Nicholas and Olivia was so cute and adorable and I just loved them! I can‘t wait to pick up the next one in the series.

pickI'm not crazy about the royal and commoner trope, but saw this on Libby & needed a new audiobook, so I figured why not? I've read Chase before and liked her and wasn't disappointed. I ended up loving this book b/c of the characters! There were a few unpredictable moments that surprised me, but what kept me listening was their beautiful romance & the connection they shared. ❤ The narration was good too. 😊

This one was one of the books on my summer reading list for December 2016, and boy, am I glad it made the list. I loved this quick read with characters that draw you into the story and makes you want to find out what will happen next in their story

panJust don't. The readers clearly never met because they couldn't match accents and tones when trying to mimic each other for dialogue. Plus, the portrayal of royal problems was so simplistic I couldn't care less about them.
pickI loved this story. I felt very meh going into it but I really wanted to read the second book so I gave it a shot. I'm so glad I did. Yes it was a very sexy read as you can guess by the cover but there was a great chemistry between the couple. Who doesn't love a Cinderella type love story?

I liked that the author came up with a reasonable explanation for this kingdom, although it was pretty close to the British monarchy.

Merienda (afternoon snack) was orange-flavored cappuccino and ensaymada (a type of Filipino pastry) topped with local white cheese. Mom had mango sansrival. Because I enjoyed reading Sustained, I jumped straight into the only other Emma Chase book I own: Royally Screwed. According to @readbyher, the second book is better! It's full price now but hoping it will go on sale.

I liked both the readers for the book. The story itself was a pretty typical romance. A random happenstance encounter with a hot foreign Prince of a madeup country falls in lust with a woman. Decently written, went a few places I wasn't exactly expecting which was nice. If you're into romance, especially of the royal variety, its a solid read.

pickThis book reminded me a lot of that movie with Julia Stiles called "The Prince and Me" but with a raunchier and sexy prince who is forced to chose a girl,
from a list his grandmother made of respectable girls, to marry in 3 months.
A really cute and quick read that had me laughing and swooning all over the place.
Don't most girls dream of Prince Charming entering their life and feeling the butterflies? These are my guilty reads.

pickI had every intention of folding laundry and tidying the house today. "Just a couple of chapters" I told myself. Several hours later I was lost in this story. It is hilariously sweary and not my usual clean romance fare but the romance and the characters were just wonderful. There was sighing and laughing and swooning.

i'm buddy reading this with a bunch of my friends on twitter and i'm so excited for it! i've been really into new adult books lately, and so i'm definitely ready to dive into this one!
pickBurned through this in a day. It was everything I wanted it to be, although predictable. I love Chase's writing and thought it would be perfect to lighten my mood. Her sex scenes are always on point and her characters are witty and humorous. The narrator shifts between the 2 main characters. I am currently waiting for a dashing prince who happens to be a sex God to sweep into my life and make a duchess. I could totally rock a tiara. 👸🏼
pickI am a sucker for royal anything, so this was a book I had to read (and it's the start of a series!). It reminded me of Pretty Woman, which doesn't bother me at all. This was a fun and sexy read!

so-soMeh. Based on other books I've read by the author, I was expecting something better. This one wasn't up to the par, but still enjoyable.
I also thought that for a Royal setting, it was just lacking compared to other books, with the same theme, out there (Nora Roberts comes to mind, as well as Nichole Chase's Suddenly Royal).

Contemporary romance isn't usually my thing as much as historical romance, but it seems to be what my brain wants today. Thwarting my plan to read the 1 million books I own, I downloaded and am reading this one. But the summary made me think of The Prince and Me so...*shrugs*
