2. Current read is Starry Eyes… not sure if this ya read is for me
3. Bubbly and Anxious!
Ps. Stole this off of @dabbe page!

Seeing as I‘m old enough to be Zorie‘s mother, allow me to say that I don‘t like her omnivorous attitude and she is GROUNDED! 😝
You want to see against nature, kid? Instead of your glamping trip, let‘s head to a factory farm. Brat.
Loved reading about hiking and mountains. Perfect balance between romance and nature. 8/10
Best friends turned best enemies, Zorie & Lennon, find themselves stranded together in the Californian wilderness when a group camping trip goes south.
I really enjoyed all the hiking in this book! It was hard to believe, Zorie, who didn‘t like to do anything physical has no problem hiking in the back country in regular shoes for the first time ever. I did love Lennon and his dry humor. Reagan sucks. Overall great summer read!

Participated in my online book club's readathon today and completed my Goodreads 2020 Reading Challenge! 🤩👏🏽 How was your weekend?
“We‘re under the same starry sky,” I say.
“We always are.”
“Not together,” I argue.
“I think we‘ve always been together, even when we were apart,” he says, slipping his hand around mine.
I am craving a romance for some reason, which I realized I don't have too many, well, like none really. So I looked through the Kindle store and surprisingly found this book under Kindle Unlimited. Downloaded and reading!
I dont know what to read next. Any suggestions?
Not a good start

My Book Outlet order got here really fast! Usually takes about 2 weeks but got here in less than 1 this time. 🤩
I liked this book A LOT more than I expected to. I thought it would be another run-of-the-mill contemporary romance, but I was wrong. It is so well written, relatable, and laugh out loud funny! It did drag at times with too much scene setting. The sex stuff caught me off guard as I did not expect it, and it didn't flow with the rest of the story's sweetness. I am impressed with the character development and how original they were.
What a good book! Just finished it and I‘m surprised it didn‘t take too long. What a lovely book with amazing acts of love and betrayal. It‘s honestly a beautiful read. I highly suggest it.
Part three baby!!! I‘m flying through this on. It‘s a good thing too, this book is 417 pages long. I‘m honestly so glade because I never want it to end.
Loving this book so far. Just reached part two in the middle of biology!
I just love her books! She‘s definitely a go-to when I need a romance story in my life. Loved these two characters, loved all the camping and outdoorsy stuff and astronomy, and loved how these two former best friends and almost couple finds their way through the misunderstandings to be there together for each other when they need it. #LitsyAtoZ:B @BookishMarginalia
I'm going for the obvious (and dated lol) here: The only thing that comes to mind is the song Starry Eyes by Mötley Crüe (did I mention dated, very, very dated ??)

I loved this and I was annoyed. I kept wanting it to get on with it, but at the same time, I loved the story. But, I definitely recommend reading it.
If you love a sappy romance novel that has a happy ending, like me then you‘ll definitely love this one - Starry Eyes by Jenn Bennet.
I‘ve officially read every book by Jenn Bennet and loved each of them so much. She really knows how to make a person nostalgic for something they‘ve never experienced.
Also, is it normal to have a crush on a fictional character?

I loved this book! A very cute, fun, and fast read. Jenn Bennett does everything right. This is my second book by her and I absolutely adored both of them.
I‘ve put Sunflowers in February on hold (again), I just can‘t seem to get into but I‘m still not going to give up (just yet).
Currently reading Starry Eyes with a hot (emphasis on the hot) cup of coffee while sitting outside again in the freezing cold. I‘m 3 chapters in and I‘m already obsessed with the book. *Spoiler Alert* the main character loves Astronomy which makes my heart swell since I do too.

This is a very strong pick for me. And exactly the book I needed. 💜💜💜
Zorie and Lennon used to be friends (and maybe more), but something happened and they haven't talked in over a year. First they are forced to go on the same glamping trip, then they are stranded in the forest- with no one to rely on except each other. But as Zorie starts to fall for Lennon again she discovers that the reason they feel apart was not at all what she expected.
Last night at the cabin- time to start book number four...
I really enjoyed this. Highly recommend.

I received a copy from Simon & Schuster Australia as part of their AusYABlogger Starry Eyes blog tour.
I read this pre-slump as an ARC and it‘s out now!
A three ⭐️ pick for me. I really like Zorie and Lennon and their family dynamics BUT the reasons for their rift, while heartbreaking, seem more convenient than realistic. Their reconciliation felt super fast (I wish we could've known them before). And I was never completely sold on the rift between the two families. Ultimately, I liked it but not nearly as much as Alex, Approximately.
May wrap up. Enjoyed these all but think Book of the Month goes to Starry Eyes.

This is not out in 🇦🇺 until June 1, but I read in back in April and had to reread parts while I whipped up my review #hardship #not I loved this book so much. https://trishtalkstexts.wordpress.com/2018/05/26/review-starry-eyes-by-jenn-benn... I want to give it all my (older) teen readers. Thanks to Netgalley and Simon & Schuster for advanced copy. #blogging #reviews #trishtalkstexts
Zorie ends up stranded in the wilderness with the boy who used to be her best friend, and as they make their way back to civilization, they have the opportunity to finally confront the events that drove them apart. It‘s a fun YA adventure that I stayed up way too late to read—I really enjoyed it. #UppercaseBox
#Booked2018: About environment or set outdoors.
It was a crazy long work week while not feeling 100% and this YA book provided the perfect escape. Zorie finds herself left alone in the woods with her ex- best friend who also broke her heart. She is lucky that he is a camping expert but now they have no distractions from each other and the past they never discussed. It took me while to get into this one but once I did I was hooked. #booked2018 #setoutdoors
Couldn't put this down! Two people, former best friends, get abandoned in the forest and have to make their own way home. Can they work out their issues while simultaneously protecting their food from bears? I really liked the two main characters (couldn't wait for the others to leave in fact) and their problems were real and complicated. And that chemistry... 😍🏕🔥
One of my favorite YA contemporary authors. Starry Eyes was a fun outdoorsy read! Perfect for camping under the stars ✨

#Hello, May! A new month means a new TBR, and here are a few of the books I‘m wanting to read this month.
#AdelesMayMashUp #ReadingResolutions #MayTBR
My friend and I used to talk about hot guy voices when we were in high school. We would call this a “dsv” (deep sex voice) 😂.
Do you ever read a book and feel like it‘s not just speaking to you, but it‘s you speaking? Starry Eyes feels a lot like that to me. I feel Zorie‘s anxieties and angers and fears and attractions. And I‘m only on chapter 2!
“Real coffee? Not instant?”
“We‘re camping, Zorie, not living in a dystopian nightmare.”
😂 ☕️ 💯
Squeezed this new release from Jenn Bennett on my summer read

#currentlyreading Need something romantic & swoony after the last few intense sad reads. Also while my #netgally advanced copy #digtial is set to be published in June #ukcover it‘s actually released in the US on the 3rd, so everyone will be talking about it then, soooooo I need to not be spoiled. #excuses but good ones, yeh? Love Jenn Bennett books so much. #preview #wilderness #romance
