4/5
This was addicting in the way teen shows on tv can be! I found it hard to put down. Tonally, this reminds me of Dangerous Girls and the few episodes of Pretty Little Liars that I‘ve seen.
After a girl‘s body is found in the lake, Kay gets an email from the dead girl w/ a program set on exposing her friends & her if she doesn‘t play by the rules. Kay begins to unravel & try to prove she didn‘t kill the girl before it‘s too late.

I‘ll need to do another coat on the red in the morning, but I‘m happy with it for the most part! I can‘t wait for my Clue Party next weekend ❤️
I also finished another audiobook for #TeamSlaughter, and enjoyed it well enough. Certainly not my favourite of the week, but it was a solid 3 stars.
Headphones are in while I get cracking on my Clue party wall art. 🎨#TeamSlaughter
Next up for #Teamslaughter! I‘m trying my best to keep up with my holds as they come pouring in! I received 6 in one day! 😅😳
Book 99🎧
I‘m truly a sucker for a YA Thriller😂 Really enjoyed this one as there was a lot of drama and I did not see THAT confession happening at all!😮
Revenge is a dish best served cold… what has poor Kay done? 🥶❄️
A great thrilling book 😊 4.5/5 Read for a prompt for the #PopSugarReadingChallenge2021.
Book #49: All girls boarding school where everyone is queer and some people get murdered!
Oh my stars!!!!! I loved this book so much!!! So many twists and turns (even in the last couple pages). This book reminds me of Gossip Girl, Pretty Little Liars with a bit of Riverdale thrown in. It was beyond amazing and I highly recommend it!!! I can not praise this book enough!!! The only complaint I have is there are spelling and grammatical errors, but those are small things.

Quick read and a good YA mystery. Nice twist at the end too!
#popsugar2020 - a book that has the same title as a movie or TV show but is unrelated to it
I just finished this book and enjoyed it. Has anyone else read it because I need to talk spoilers! I am very shocked and a little confused about the ending.
I am halfway through!! I got 2 inter library loans and I thought this would be the slower of the 2, I was wrong. I am hoping to finish this weekend!!
Standard YA book, slightly too predictable and erring towards being too trendy, but it held my attention and I enjoyed it. Guilty beach read.
Why do the good parts always come up after I say just one more chapter😩🤓📖
After finishing the tagged book and updating goodreads this popes up! How festive is the star confetti?!
Just cause I‘ve reached my doesn‘t mean I‘m done reading. 🤓
I really enjoyed this YA suspense novel that follows a group of girls and the secrets they keep. I did figure out who was responsible and thought that was pretty obvious but that didn‘t take away from the story because I was waiting to see when the heroine would catch onto what the reader already knew.
Thanks for the book @hermyknee
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
This is a YA murder mystery drama set at a prestigious all girls prep school somewhere in New England. I almost bailed around 40 pages in because I kept getting annoyed that the main character didn‘t talk to her friends/authority figures when she clearly should have. Eventually I got sucked in, and it was a quick read, but nothing really stood out for me about this book.
Liz you have seriously the best! Thank you for sending me a little bit of Texas with the socks. I love them. I love everything. 😭

“Blind Faith is meaningless & doesn‘t last.” #audiobooks #quotes
Heathers meets Pretty Little Liars meets Gossip Girl!
It‘s all here in this YA boarding school mystery- Mean girls, manipulation, murder and mayhem.....
Page-turning, ridiculously far fetched, but ultimately fun read! But you gotta be OK with reading about irredeemable characters - these girls are not nice!
Read for #booked2018 challenge #setatschool
It was an enjoyable and quick read, but I didn‘t like the ending very much and I found the scavenger hunt rules confusing.

Should be a good month! 👍😊📚💕
@TheFunkyBookworm Thank you so much for doing this giveaway!!! I would love to read People Like Us by Dana Mele because I was/am a huge fan of Pretty Little Liars and I love books that are centered around a mystery where in someway or another everyone is tied into the events that lead up to a murder or disappearance. It keeps me guessing and I love that!! #YAWednesday
I'm not a big fan of murder mysteries but I liked this one! Lots of Pretty Little Liars vibes! I figured out the killer about 3/4 of the way through. The conclusion really blew me away though--beautifully written and LGBTQ+ rep!
A good mystery ya. I like a solid murder mystery with teen mean girls.
It‘s regents week in NYS, so I‘m spending all my time sitting in random classrooms with random students while they take tests. During the Algebra test, I finished People Like Us and started Reign of the Fallen.
Despite the fact that none of the characters were good people and they all just did really cruel things to each other, I got totally sucked in. I did guess how it was going to end, but I enjoyed the process to get there.
It‘s 11:30pm and I should be asleep, but the hubby just called to say he‘s headed home from work early and stopped at the store to get me cookies. I want cookies 🍪🍪🍪🍪
Next up is one of these, although I‘m too tired to decide which one right now... both came in from the library today.
I‘d heard quite a few people talk about this book and it didn‘t live up to the hype for me. I‘m thinking that maybe this high-school teenage-drama-mystery style just isn‘t for me. I didn‘t really care about any of the characters so good thing this was a fast read. I did appreciate the final twist.
Another mean girls at elite school is readable but unmemorable.
I wanted something light and easy to read but this is, like, super shallow with vapid characters and the horrendously amateur writing style makes me, like, want to throw up or something.
I put the book down just now on the chair next me but it slid off. I'm not picking it up; it's staying on the floor where it belongs.
Retail therapy at its finest. Nothing like a big stack of books after a long book buying ban and a crazy first few months of the year.

Such a fast and addicting read. I enjoyed every second of the book, the drama, and who done it aspect. I did guess midway who was the killer, but it still didn‘t take away anything from the book for me.
Rating: 5/5 Stars. Kay is a popular girl at a boarding school with a past. When she and her friends discover a body she is blackmailed and framed for murder. Who can she trust? Who did it?

Highly recommend this YA thriller- a teen is found dead in the lake outside Bates Academy. This centers around her so-called “friends”, relationships, and betrayal. Think Pretty Little Liars meets Gossip Girl
5/5. i knew i would like this. but like it this much? i had no idea. this book was so compelling, it really got me out of my slump (that lasted maybe 2 days, haha). i read the majority of it last night and today. i‘m hoping for more books from dana mele.
Pretty good YA suspense! I couldn‘t figure out The Who or the why. A group of friends and enemies, all hiding things, all entangled in love triangles, but who has the best motive for murder?
YA update: enjoying it! I‘m halfway through already! And quite interested in who is behind the computer 💻 🤔🧐..
