a con artist‘s daughter is taken hostage in a bank heist.....what could go wrong?! loved this unique and twisty YA book!
I rarely commit to a “series” but I‘m officially hooked on the Bromance Book Club series! I loved book #2
If you‘re looking for a family psychological thriller, pick-up The Wrong Family! It comes out tomorrow! I love Tarryn Fischer‘s writing style and can‘t wait to read future novels!
Love that this is illustrated pop classic!
I had to read this book real slowly, because I was haunted by every detail. This was very “Gone Girl meets Room.” So if you found yourself intrigued by those two novels you should pick up Dear Child.
This would make a great gift! It is such a beautiful book- both words & illustrations!
One of my all time favorite books! I might need to purchase this illustrated copy for my home library 📚
Pick-up this graphic novel!
this book/movie scared me as a young kid! I‘m so happy to see it as a graphic novel. Love when classics are “reintroduced”!
a beautiful middle grade novel in verse. Ellen Hopkins is extraordinary when it comes to writing engaging texts to not only educate others about substance abuse and mental health issues. But also makes readers feel that they are not alone when it comes to living with addiction or mental illnesses.
Such a timely book. I admire Kelly Yang‘s writing and addressing issues of racism and how to take a stand.
Each of the characters in the town of Autmunboro reminded me of The Gilmore Girls
One of the best books I‘ve read this year!!!!! Highly recommend.
This picture book is perfection!
⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ if you grew up in the 90s listening to boy/girl bands or watching VH1‘s Behind The Music you should check this book out!
Jeff Kinney always knows how to make his readers giggle! Love this branch off series to Diary of a Wimpy Kid
this book definitely deserves all the hype. I can‘t wait to see the HBO Limited series
Currently Listening to 🎧
“I didn't want to interrupt your Funyunning.”
I usually don‘t pick up a lot of rom-com‘s but Christina and Lauren never disappoint! This story is a very HGTV“Fixer Upper meets Flip or Flop!”
I would love to see a sequel for Carey and James!
@christinalauren
I‘m way behind- on vaca with no WiFi/cell service!

-love floating at a lake/pool, and getting lots of sun and reading in!
Kimberly Belle always writes binge-worthy domestic thrillers. I loved reading along and trying to piece together this mystery! If you‘re looking for a quick atmospheric lake mystery, pick this one up June 9, 2020.
Thank you Park Row Books for the ARC!
for eighteen years Rose Gold was told by her mother that she was ill with a disease that no doctor or medical professional could figure out.
Darling Rose Gold is a chilling story of physical and mental abuse. The Munchausen syndrome by proxy storyline peaked my interest, especially after watching documentaries around the Gypsy Rose Blanchard case.
What to read after you‘ve watched/read P.S. I Still Love You
this author duo always amazes me! I love the detailed chapters and characters. Can‘t wait to see more from Greer and Sarah!
just because you love someone doesn‘t mean you know them....The New Husband sucked me in just like a lifetime movie. I couldn‘t stop reading The New Husband by D.J. Palmer! Add it to your thriller list for 2020! Thanks to @stmartinspress and @djpalmerauthor for the opportunity to read and review an advance copy! Can‘t wait to read more from D.J. Palmer
Despite its entertainment value and being "fiction", American Dirt comes off as an extremely inaccurate representation of the real situation of a country. If anything I hope that American Dirt serves as a bridge and individuals will go on to read, research, and engage with this crucial issue through #ownvoices novels and firsthand accounts.
Autumn and Ivy couldn‘t be more different. Autumn, the popular girl, who doesn‘t trust anyone, and is cold-mannered to everyone. While Ivy is part of the “nerd herd” who loves Star Wars and board games. When a drug deal goes wrong and Autumn is beaten and held hostage- she leaves her body seeking help. The only one who can help her is Ivy. This is an advanced YA book. The subject matter is for mature audiences.
currently reading.
I‘ve read a lot of the controversy surrounding the author and novel but still want to read it to formulate my own opinion.
“Bad news still finds you on sunny days...” Something is happening in the town of Lilydale, Minnesota. Young boys are disappearing one by one, and then returning dark & withdrawn. This book is a mystery set in the 1980s, about a small Minnesota community where nothing is as quiet or as safe as it seems. Highly recommend this one- but drop your fast-paced thriller expectations, this plays out as more of an unsettling suspense/mystery.
I really liked the first book so I have high hopes for the sequel. Who‘s read this one?!
Can‘t stop listening/reading. Having personally witnessed addiction firsthand this story is very hard to listen to and read at times.
This book was fantastic. Can‘t wait to discuss it at book club!
I always look forward to Reese‘s Book Club picks. This was a quick and thought provoking read.
Is anyone ever really who they say they are? I loved A Simple Favor and this one hooked me right after the first chapter! Darcey Bell really knows how to write fast-paced stories. If you enjoy a good psychological suspense, I highly recommend checking this one out! Thanks to NetGalley for the Advance E-Proof!
