On Book Hoarding and the Perilous Paradox of Clutter, by Vanessa Ogle: https://lithub.com/on-book-hoarding-and-the-perilous-paradox-of-clutter/
As I‘m working towards trying to read more books off my physical shelves this year before buying more books. I‘m doing the #24in2024 challenge this year. I made a list for fiction & nonfiction since I read a lot of nonfiction. Looking forward to trying to get through some books on my shelves
Not really celebrating the holidays this year, but am thinking about the new year. Pictured here: my physical TBR. Suffice to say, I didn‘t very well with #PricePerPage in 2021!
What‘s currently irking me is my need to finish my current reads before the calendar flips. This arbitrary, self-imposed rule has me wondering what I can start and finish in the next 5 days.
#WondrousWednesday
1. I‘d say at least ten at the moment.
2. I wish I could read all the books in a year (or at least 200).
3. I would say I almost always buy Kris Radish when she releases a book.
4. Waking up and feeling a bit better.
Who am I to question our nation's top scientific minds?! 😁
1. I am not sure supports is the right word as there is eye rolling and head shaking when books make it in to the cart. But I don‘t get golf so....
2. My daughter, dad, one of my brothers and I share books with all of them.
3. The Count of Monte Cristo...maybe next year‘s #ChunsterChallenge
Thanks for #WondrousWednesday. I needed to pass a little time before leaving to get my first vaccine. Weird to be so excited to get a shot! 😁

Yay for bookish prompts! I'm currently reading:
-Northanger Abbey with the #PemberLittens
-Britt-Marie Was Here
-A Girl's Best Friend by Liz Young
-Dear Enemy by Jean Webster
-Calypso by David Sedaris
I'm grateful for:
-A grandmother who sparked my love of reading
-Parents who indulged my habit (e.g. Child Me allowed to read through meals, read through church...)
-Bookish best friends who share my literary obsessions
Have you ever been told you own too many books? 😃
By who? 😃
What did you tell them? 😃
Why is it that all the library holds pop at the same time!!! #library
I took this at my book splurge-spree Thursday. I wanted to buy every book on this display except the Alice Network (unread) & All the Light We Cannot See (highly recommend) because i already have those. Sigh such a beautiful sight until i can get home to my own books
I can‘t believe there is a book called “Too Many Books”. See tagged book above. There is no such thing. End of my bday in bed with my new mug. It‘s been a good day.
I shouldn't pick up the newest copy of Book Page. I always find too many books that I didn't know I needed! Just bought two new books.
The best part of working in a library is getting to see all the new books, it‘s also the worst part. #toomany #theyjustkeepcoming #eatsleepread #tbr #bookhaul
My #bookexpo18 haul.
I read a lot of books. For those wondering how this is possible, this is me with my kids and son in law. ‘If life gives you lemons, make lemonade.‘ Reading books is my lemonade.
My TBR is too long! What to read next??!! #tbrlist
I've never been troubled by the amount of books on my Goodreads TBR shelf before, but suddenly today I was overcome by a need to digitally declutter.
I started by removing previews and books I'll never read from my ereader, and now I want to go through my Goodreads TBR and remove the books that I have lost interest in, know I won't read, etc.
Then I might do the same for my physical bookshelves!
I guess the spring cleaning bug has finally got me!

I just keep buying more books on my kindle!
Going to see The Killers next week 😀
As a general rule I will no longer be posting Book Mail or Book Haul posts on Litsy. (I have two very recent purchases I will post about later today, though.) With my new BookTube channel, I simply don‘t have the time. I will continue to post reviews, blurbs, and quotes on Litsy though. So here is my October book haul video where I talk about each new book at some length and read the opening line or paragraph.

I think I need to stop buying books retail and going to the library, for a while. Want to rearrange the hoard of books I have ,feeling like it‘s a puzzle and when I take it all apart it will not fit back together.Still looking for bookcases. Giving myself the OK to buy at rummage and seasonal book sales, don‘t want to miss a treasure! Of course ,some in the stash if I read them I don‘t intend to keep them.Any thoughts Littens?
When you're already in the middle of five books and all your library holds come in at once.
I started this year with about 80 unread books on my Kindle and now look, 141! And all those ARCs too! #blameitonlitsy 😱🙈🙈
