I missed @suvata's original post, so I'm late to the game, but I started another group. If anyone's interested in literary fiction or historical fiction, head to @Suvata page for a link to the sign up genius and join group v!

Hello Group L, these are my possible choices for #Round9 of #LMPBC... any preferences? I want to read both, so I will go with majority rules!
I read this book for my book club. We haven‘t discussed it yet so it will be interesting to see what everyone thinks about it. For me it was good but not great. I liked that it was about a book club and it wove some actual books into the story. I liked that the members were all different personality types. I liked that the 2 main characters grew and changed by the end of the book. I just didn‘t feel a connection to the characters or the story.
Even though we couldn‘t meet in person we had a lovely book on google hangouts... plus it was nice to have some human interaction!

Prompt: About a book club
Bought this online as part of my upcoming book club grab bag. It‘s a journal to record notes, quotes etc about books. I plan to pair it with a Pillow Pad, my new reading companion. Hope one of the ladies likes it!
I‘ve been getting ready for my book club to come over tonight and see the new house and go for a swim. One by one people are canceling though. Bad weather headed our way doesn‘t help much I suppose. 😞
But can‘t we do both???
#lmpbc #group j @Lidia @mrsmarch @Fridameetslucy are we all set? Super excited.
@Fridameetslucy @Lidia @mrsmarch Here are selections that are less than 300 pages. I‘m happy to read any of them. #LMPBG #GroupJ
Hi! @mrsmarch @Sward7 @Fridameetslucy this my selection of books I would like to read for #LMPBC #GroupJ . I have historical fiction, none-fiction and some contemporary fiction. Please let me know what you think. I‘m tagging the books in the comments
Hey #lmpbc #round6 #groupJ...some books I was thinking of for our swap. They‘re all under 300 pages, by women authors, two fiction and two nonfiction. I haven‘t read any of them before but they‘re all on my to-read! What do you think?
I‘m thinking of starting my own book club but before deciding on genre, format, cadence, and so forth. I‘d love to hear from you...
😄what‘s your favorite thing about club?
😡what‘s your pet peeve about them?
#LMPBC #round5 #GroupQ I‘ve read all of these and have reread some of them and could reread all of them forever and ever, amen. Two nonfiction, two fiction. Don‘t worry about the nonfiction ones, they‘re both beautifully written. And I could talk for hours on both genetics and Italian art.
I am a sucker for books about books, bookstores and book clubs.
Looking to start a book club in my town, does anyone have any advice?
Ok two things happened today:
#1. Got pulled into a book club.
#2. My student loans‘ officially paid off.
No sure about joining book club cause I‘m such an introvert. 😳😳
Not to monopolize my feed with book related drama, but I need advice and who better than my Litten friends? Yesterday I wrote about a book club posting I made. The good news is I‘ve seen A LOT of interest from it. The bad news is I‘ve seen A LOT of interest from it. Now I‘m not sure where to go from here. I‘m sure everyone who joined won‘t participate, but at 50+ members and growing there‘s no way we could all meet. Any ideas how to mange this??
Spearheaded my first book club meeting today where the group of people I gathered were total strangers. I posted something on whim about a local book club and got a great response. Here‘s to hoping this is the beginning of a beautiful book-ship!
This will be my first time participating - can‘t wait! I‘ve signed up and look forward to meeting the other group members and the books they choose #LMPBC @suvata
1. Summer 🌻
2. Fiction but starting to read more non-fiction
3. Book Club - I love our book club! Wine and brownies at every meeting.
4. Both and audiobooks too!
@SilversReviews
I‘ve been thinking about joining Book Of The Month...Any pros and cons from those who have tried it?????
Mailing off 'I am not a serial killer' for #whodunitthesequel to @Librarybelle and 'meddling kids' for group N of #LMPBC to @Alwaysbeenaloverofbooks today!

As it‘s the end of the year, my book club is doing a book round table of ‘Your Best Five Reads of 2017‘. Each member presents five of her/his favourite books read in the year and share with the others what about the books that captivated, moved or entertained us. I‘m certain my wishlist will grow after that meeting!
Question for the Littens:
How did you find your book club?
Desperately seeking suggestions so I can start making friends in my new city/state. #lookingforlittens
Ps. The bumper sticker was found while walking the dog but sadly the owner wasn't in sight.
When you find out that your library now carries "Book Club in a Bag"!! Holds 10
Titles with question sheets! ?
I liked this book but didn't love it. It was a bit intense in the heartache/heartbreak department. The characters were a little predictable. I did like how the fact that a book club was the start of great friendships and my personal favorite book played a part in the narrative.
