This is my absolute favorite book in the Phryne Fisher series and listening to it on audiobook was awesome. I sped through this in a day while putting a huge puzzle together.

Imo, this is the epitome of a cozy mystery. The secondary characters are all wonderful and it gives me a warm, cozy feeling, like spending the evening with friends. 5⭐️

✔ Phryne #18 this morning. Almost thru Lost for Words for #booksandbrews on Sat. 🤞 Audio of DOA before Sun Premiere of Outlander. Then I begin my audio adventure thru Tolkien. Lord of Shadows will be a skim thru to get ready for Queen of Darkness on Dec 4. Nov is good month for books on food and The Great War. And then there is Poldark I'm determined to finish series this year. Takes up way to much shelf space. 📚

Day 19 - #setinthe1920s - this is my absolute favorite time period to read about. There's just something about it. The Phryne Fisher books are definitely my favorite series (ever!) from this time period. Dead Man's Chest is one of my favorites. #24in48 #readathon It's 2am here and my head is pounding! I'm going to do an hour of an audiobook in bed, then get a few hours sleep before coming down that home stretch to get my 24hrs in. I'm bound and determined to do it this time, headache be damned!
