pickOkay, I read this solely based on the cover. No idea why. 🤣
I like that this was told from the male POV, and he told the story as a commentary on his own bad behavior. Yes, Drew is a massive tool, but he knows it. But honestly, I did like him, because I can‘t resist a bad boy. And his love interest, Kate, is kinda badass and I liked her too, and I rooted for them as a couple. Lots of steam in this one!

Well, that audiobook was 8 hours of misogynistic bullshit I‘ll never get back. It‘s doubly infuriating that it was written by a woman. I rarely say this, but I genuinely hated this book.
pickUsual story. What sets it apart from the other 🌶️🌶️ contemporary romances is the POV. Drew tells the story of how he fell for his coworker including commentary on his own behaviour. That's what makes this rogue/player to tamed boyfriend story special.

pickFun, fun, fun. I‘ve actually read this one before but it‘s been a long time and I didn‘t realize it was part of a series. Am enjoyable listen if you can handle cuss words and inappropriate bedroom talks.
My #weeklyforecast plus my Halloween cat. The tagged book is my current audiobook. Abraham Lincoln has been on my tbr forever and just happened to be on display at the library, so I thought with Halloween being this week, it was time to read it. I‘m hoping to get to Night Film (another #newyearwhodis book) but may not make it this week. While not on a display, it managed to catch my eye as I was walking to another section of the library.
I let go of her arm, grab a black silk scarf off the chair, and hold it up. “You can‘t take this off until I tell you, okay?” #Suspicion washes over her face. “Is this some kind of weird sex thing?” I chuckle. “No. But I like the way you think.” She rolls her eyes to the ceiling right before I cover them with the scarf, and the world as she knows it fades to black. #QuotsyJune19
pickThis was told from the male POV, which isn't usually my thing. But it was so funny, so tongue-in-cheek, I couldn't help rooting for the guy. If you're a romance junkie, pick this one up!

pickI really liked this one, Kate was so badass!!! And Drew was pretty snarky. It was such a fun and delightful read. Absolutely recommend this for anyone who's having a bad day. Made me laugh out loud. Got a little annoyed by the writing style though, it was just a bit over the top.

panI've never hate read a book before this, but apparently there's a first time for everything. Did you know men like Braveheart because it's awesome, and women like The Notebook even though it's totally gay, right? 😒 Pretty sure I was supposed to find the male POV charming if dense but he was just a sexist ass. I've been spoiled reading feminist friendly romance so when I got to this garbage I just wanted to light it on fire. 😡😡
panAt first I liked the male POV approach; but the relentless crassness ultimately negates the comic aspect; and cheapens (instead of eroticizing) the sexual components. Also, he's an asshole and she's an idiot; and neither is improved by the other :-/
so-soTook me a while to get used to the writing style but the story kept me reading.
