I‘m studying to become a teacher for the first four grades in elementary school, and now we‘re working with litterature! We‘re going to read these two and I‘m so excited, because these authors are my (and almost every swede‘s) whole childhood. Astrid Lindgren is the queen of children‘s books with Pippi Longstocking and Bröderna Lejonhjärta (The Brothers Lionheart) and many more! Tove Jansson is another queen with her books about the Moomins!

4/5⭐️ This was a fast read for me! I enjoyed the characters a lot and the plot twists. I thought the language was easy to understand and the world was also not that complicated.

3/5⭐️ I liked the book, but it wasn‘t the best feminist book I‘ve ever read. I thought it was a little bit too focused on these ten women, and had hoped on lore writing about more structual things. (And yeah, it‘s two of my uni textbooks in the background😂)

I am moving to a new apartment in about three weeks, and had planned to give my second (smaller) bookshelf to my older brother and buy a new white Billy bookshelf to match this one. Then yesterday one of my cousins wrote on Facebook wondering if anyone wanted his old white Billy bookshelf now when he has bought new ones. Ofc I said I wanted it and am going to go and get it later today and place the books laying down into the new one😄

I‘ve wanted to read this for a long time and now I will finally do it😁

4/5⭐️ A really good book! It took me some time to get used to the way it‘s written, but after the 50 pages or so I was hooked! The history of racism and slavery is devastating, and this book made me think even more about the slavery that‘s happening in Libya right now. We can‘t forget about the past, and must show solidarity with each other. I‘ve gone to demonstrations and donated money to end it, I hope some of you‘ve done so as well!

Therese Lindgren is one of Sweden‘s biggest youtubers and in this book she‘s writing about her journey into becoming a vegan, veganism m.m. I‘m a big fan of her youtube channel and I‘m also a vegetarian so I‘m looking forward reading this!!

5/5⭐️ One of my new favourite books, loved this sooo much! The language was so beautiful, the characters (not only the main characters) were extremely interesting, the story was amazing and unpredictable. If there‘s any of you who understand Swedish I highly recommend you to read this if a Swedish dystopian which touch on subjects such as what it means to be swedish, religion, terrorism, timetravel, mental health etc sounds interesting!

I‘m taking a break from lotr and am going to read this Swedish book before I finish the series! (Translation of this book: they will drown in their mother‘s tears)

Today is the day when I'll finally start reading Tolkien! I'll start with this one, and then continue with The lord of the rings.

3/5⭐️As you see, I liked some of the short stories a lot and others not at all! I didn't enjoy this anthology as much as their other one, "Rogues".

The picture doesn't do it justice, but today I did my first book inspired tattoo! #asoiaf is my favourite book series of all time, and the quote "fear cuts deeper than swords" is one that I love and find very inspiring. I'm really happy with the result? do any of you have a book inspired tattoo?
