Starting a new audiobook during a late night feeding with the little one :) #dewey #readathon #ReverseReadathon
Calling it a night here for the #readathon. Finished this awesome book. See y‘all in the AM. I may read some more when I wake up to feed the little one. #dewey #readathon #ReverseReadathon
Finishing up this audiobook because it‘s past my bedtime and I‘m getting sleepy lol #dewey #readathon #ReverseReadathon
First book for #deweys #readathon. I‘ve read a lot of Francis Chan lately
Great synopsis of what the Bible says about Hell.
Wonderfully interesting stories but the writing style wasn‘t great. It was quite predictable but enjoyable nonetheless.
Catching up on some reviews the next few days. Although this has some content involving sexual abuse that was a little graphic, the read was very interesting. The writing style was bland but the topic was great! I enjoyed the read.
I haven‘t posted in here in a while and honestly have not been reading much. My 4 month old keeps me busy and I don‘t have much time for much else (not complaining haha). But I do plan on doing the #dewey #readathon starting tomorrow. I‘m listening to this audiobook at work today and so far it‘s pretty good. What should I read for the Readathon?
Wayne is amazingly hilarious! This book is beautifully written and such a great read. I may even like this story better than the first three in the series!
Currently reading this response to Dawkin‘s The God Delusion. Great read so far!
Great book so far! I love the world building and magic systems that Sanderson creates!
This is two nights in a row I‘ve had dreams I was a Gunter. Apparently I was really good at creating puzzles because my dreams have been epic!
Although I really enjoyed the plot and the world that was built in this novel, the beginning of the novel had a lot of information dumps and much of this information was not needed to thoroughly enjoy the novel. Additionally, I do not normally read any books with content that is not PG (cussing, sexual references etc) and this novel had a lot of that. I feel this content did not add anything to the already amazing novel. #travelingbook
The storyline and world building of this novel are excellent. I just wish the cussing and inappropriate topics were removed and this book would definitely be one of my favorites. I‘m reading this as part of Litsy #travelingbook
Finished this wonderful book today. The stories behind the racist and greedy killings of the Osage need to be told and never forgotten. Great read for anyone!
I started this audiobook yesterday and I‘m already 3/4 finished. You could say it‘s pretty good :)
I‘m not really enjoying this book so far. The premise of the book is really interesting but the writing style is a little boring. I‘m hoping it picks up but I‘m not sure I‘m going to enjoy this one. :/ #travelingbook
I‘ve been in a bit of a book slump lately but I started this one over the holiday weekend and I am feeling energized and ready to read! This series is great and I cannot wait to finish it off with this superb book.
I‘m so ready to start reading Ready Player One. I just got it in the mail. Thank you so much for all the gifts as well. #travelingbook
Great series! Anyone who likes fantasy would love these books!
This series was just so predictable. I did love the ending though.
This series is worth the read. It is fast-paced and fun, but it is predictable and is not unique within the dystopian genre.
The second in the series is interesting so far. This series isn't a unique dystopian, but entertaining nonetheless.
I'm in between listing this as "pick" and "so-so". I love the premise of the book and I enjoyed the characters, but the pacing was slow and the plot was predictable. I am still excited to start reading the second in the series soon and I recommend this to fans of dystopian YA.
The ending of this book was unexpected and amazing. I love Sanderson's writing style. He has a huge world development without adding too much unnecessary information.
Continuing this book via audiobook. This is great so far. Not as good as the first in the series, but still great!
"Coming Home" turned out completely different from what I imagined it would be, but it was a good read. I loved learning more about the characters and going on this emotional ride with them!
Just finished the last little bit of GOF today. It is excellent as always!
Finished this one on Friday. This is an excellent book which highlights that it is important what we do between Sundays and not just on Sundays. I loved the stories in this one. The characters are really interesting and I wanted the best for all of them.
First off, I love when a book is even more beautiful without the dusk jacket. This is my favorite shade of purple! Although slow at first, this book really picked up and became quite interesting. Barnes has a way of weaving intricate plots into her stories. This book wasn't amazing, but it was good and I would recommend it to fans of YA suspense.
Finished my first book of the #24in48! Great read! Very fast paced and suspenseful! 10/5 stars!!!
Reading Blink of an Eye while waking up and browsing twitter. Here is my progress for the readathon so far
I started this novel today. I was planning on starting it tonight or tomorrow for the #24in48 readathon, but it was calling to me. Finishing this audiobook will be a great way to start the readathon! It is a superb read so far!
Just finished this great Ted Dekker book. I do not read a lot of Nonfiction Christian books as I find that they repeat a lot of information over and over again. Although Dekker did this some, the book had a wonderful message and was really inspiring. Dekker emphasizes that we should keep our eyes on our inheritance (Heaven) and not lose hope for the wonderful things that are to come in Heaven. I will have a more in depth review on my blog soon!
Continuing reading via audiobook this morning. This book is so much more than inspiring. It is exactly what I need in this moment: hope, the source of happiness, and a foretaste of heaven divine.
I found a signed copy of this book at my local used book store. I didn't realize it was signed until I got home!
Started this book tonight. My husband raves about it, so I cannot wait to read it. This quote reminds me of a church of the highlands sermon. In the sermon, it was talking about Paul and how they were telling him that if he preached about Jesus they would behead him. Paul's paraphrased response is "would you really? That'd be great" because what awaits us in heaven is greater than anything we have here on earth!
This book is even better than I remembered. I love Mcgonagall and Dumbledore in this installment of the series!
