I taught a lot this week and I got to teach art ❤️❤️❤️ I did torn paper owls with grade 2s and we painted BIG fall leaves in grade 1 4. I fancied up my front urns for Christmas and 5. Bags 1-4 are done and attached - so repetitive 🙄 this book was so interesting. The end of the book breaks down the asteroid strike and a step by step description of what would have happened after it hit the Yucatan Peninsula. And all the people who scoffed at the asteroid hypothesis 🤣🤣

This novella was on a book list of books that feel like a hug and part of a big library hold list I registered. I usually feel like November is a tough slog, between the time change and weather it kind of sucks the joy out of you. This is a bittersweet book about dementia, generations of family, and love.

I started this ages ago but didn‘t get it finished so had to wait for my hold to come back in ( Libby held my spot 🤯❤️) I finished my “Books are my passion” set and now to decide on which Christmas set I start 🤔

I love Elizabeth Strout and how she tells a story. I wanted to see a play adapted from My Name is Lucy Barton ( the first book in the Amgash series ) but the timing was never right to get to Toronto to see it. This is 17 years later

I really loved this book, magical imagining to how The Scarlet Letter came to be but I could have done without the past magic trip back in time

It‘s a beautiful story but humans don‘t end well in it ( all current indicators show this ending is completely feasible )

Absolute true love for this book! I have laughed so hard I‘ve cried over and over while reading this and my heart has broken too many times. It‘s an absolute gem to read right now when women‘s reproductive rights are being taken away from them. Despite the laughter ( because if you can‘t laugh, you‘ll cry) there is a heavy message underlaying this story about what a woman bears in this life as a daughter, sister, wife, mother

I started this last night, really late for me, at 10 pm. The day got away from me and I was so tired I only managed 2 chapters. I was laughing so hard I was crying and then I didn‘t want to go to sleep. It may be finished today. I love peanut M&M‘s although I didn‘t think of them as a kids candy, they are more a I need to survive this day strategy

Dana grew up in rural Indiana with two parents who had mental illness and a drug trafficking business. Her dad put her to work when she go kicked out of preschool cutting up weed for dine bags and acting as a lookout when he did business 🤦🏻‍♀️

Posts about the US election feel insane to me. How are some of these people given such a platform? Why are so many people not valued? #littensloveromance I couldn‘t help myself, I had to read to the end and get my HEA fix ❤️ things got tense there for a bit ( hence my inability to stop reading) but all‘s well that ends well. This was a delightful witchy tale with zero spooky factor and very low key sexy bits

I inhaled this light witchy romance. Truthfully, imo, the sexy parts weren‘t needed, it was fun enough without them. They weren‘t over the top sexy parts either. Kind of Stars Hollow ish with witchery

#falljamboreedoodles getting caught up on my doodle posts days 19-22 and starting my 4th book in as many days, I can‘t settle 🤷🏻‍♀️ Dracula and Irregular Society of Witches have just captivated me so much, nothing else is keeping my interest while my brain runs amok thinking about the next chapters

This is a YA witch book that has a lot going for it; witches, water, fantastically beautiful imagery. Midway through it gets a bit too YA angst-y with the heavy handed adults basically forcing the main protagonist, Tana, to choose a path that goes against her true self, but like most YA there is a HEA. The author does a wonderful job championing the natural world which I love, her focus on the ocean in this one is ❤️❤️
