I read What the Wind Knows by Harmon a few years ago and really loved it. I expect to enjoy this one too.

I was able to finish all my spooky reads by bedtime last night, so I‘m happily starting the month off fresh with more great books.

Finished up this 5⭐️ audiobook today. Clever and darkly funny, perfect for the season.

Short stories from the author of Anne of Green Gables, many with a spooky theme. I hunted this down a couple years ago but finally read it now. Took my time and read it throughout the month. I really enjoyed these tales.

I enjoyed the first eight novels in this series from
2014 - 2016. I just discovered this 60 page novella exists. Seems a perfect way to finish out the month.

Super fun YA. They meet while working at a zombie themed escape room and then team up to compete in a zombie themed survival weekend. Chapters alternate first person POV.

I enjoyed this story, first published in 1972. I chose an audiobook and it was well done. Then I listened to most of the Afterword that for some reason was explaining to me why I don‘t understand this novel, which assuredly I do. I find this incredibly ironic and as disturbing as the thriller itself. Thanks for mansplaining a book about women‘s equality dude.

I adore Nancy Drew. It pains me to say that this one just isn‘t great. Put another way - if you don‘t want to read the whole series, just the stand out mysteries - leave this off your list.

I‘m 100 pages in and enjoying this YA set in Seattle at October. Nate and Kate just met working at a zombie themed escape room. Now they‘ve signed up for a weekend zombie survival competition. #WhereAreYouMonday

The third in the series. I‘ve given each audiobook a five star review.

#WhereAreYouMonday I‘ve just read the first two short stories so far. One specified Briarwold which I believe to be in Saskatchewan. The next story takes place somewhere a train delivered you to New York quickly. I‘ve had this book on my shelf for a while now and I‘m disappointed I didn‘t know about the #KindredSpiritsBuddyRead when they read this together a couple years ago.

I heard about this from A Mighty Girl FB post this week. I found it at the local library and read it immediately. Loved it. There was a mom reading Halloween picture books to her three daughters. I gave a quick synopsis to her as I handed it off for them to enjoy. The mom was beaming and then I was too.

More fun in the little community overrun with Herdman kids.

A friend loved this book and told me how excited she is for the movie to come to theaters soon. She loaned her copy to me. I read it yesterday and loved it too. It is a delight. Humorous and heartfelt. 5⭐️ #FirstLineFridays

#WhereAreYouMonday - in France but traveling to Germany because Tom Ripley is diabolical

The beginning of this novel had me wondering if I was going to want to finish it, but glad I kept on because I did find it worthwhile after all. 4⭐️

“There‘s no such thing as a perfect murder,” Tom said to Reeves. “That‘s just a parlor game, trying to dream one up. Of course you could say there are a lot of unsolved murders. That‘s different.”

I‘m enjoying the third book of The Talented Mr. Ripley series. #FirstLineFridays

The second in this series was just as fun as the first. The audiobook is excellent. I‘ll definitely continue with these lovable characters.

This is a marvelous story about being alert to the beauty around us and the supreme value of human connection.

My first time reading this fictionalized account of the historical events. So very sad.

I just stumbled upon this new fall themed sweet rom com series. Short, easy reads. Fourteen books in the series. New title every few days. On kindle unlimited.
Tagged book is the first of the stand alone stories that released earlier this month.

I enjoyed this one too. Fun adventure with the brave, clever sleuth and her loyal, capable friends.

I read this with friends. We had a good time discussing things we have in common with the main character.

I enjoyed the books and watched the movies with my friends. Meyer said she made Bella‘s birthday the 13th because she is an accident prone character that would have had to deal with Friday the 13th birthdays.

I just heard a girl who appears to be about fifteen, ask the adult she is with: If I buy you a book will you read it? The adult guessed correctly which book it would be and readily agreed.

I enjoyed the 13th book in the Three Pines Series. This one takes place in July with flash backs to November throughout.

I loved this so much, just like all of Bastone‘s books on audible. The story is fun and the voice actors do superb job with the material. 5⭐️
