pickThese two books have absolutely nothing in common, except...I finished both yesterday, they‘re both great, and they both brought me to tears on multiple occasions. I read The One-in-a-Million Boy, a beautifully written novel, for my book club and have SO many quotations marked! House Arrest, a YA/middle-grade novel in verse, is the journal of a boy that details the year after he steals a wallet. (I stayed up waaayy too late finishing this one!)

pickI read this one in a single sitting. I loved the characters, the plot, and the world itself. It was fast paced, plot driven, but still had some romance on the side. At first I was disappointed that there was no magic in this book since it is set in a fantasy world, but I ended up loving the fact that there was no magic. Very well done! pickI wouldn't usually read this sort of book because I thought it'd be depressing. But I read it for my friend. I fell in love with the characters of this book. I'd laugh and aww over them. It's so so worth a read. It's a easy read and it's a quick read. If you're looking for a little awkward romance while a girl is figuring her life out. You've got it. Everyone should read everything everything.
