This book takes a while to get into, but once I did I fell in love with it! The characters are realistic and the world building is phenomenal.
The Magicians is an adult Harry Potter mixed with Chronicles of Narnia. I can‘t wait to read/listen to the sequel!!

Ban This Book | Alan Gratz

Returned home from vacation to find book mail waiting for me. Almost makes up for missing The Brooklyn Book Festival today. I won the tagged book from Library Thing's Early Reviewers program. The Wharton came in my #homemadedecades 1920s box. The Brakebills University mug and tote I ordered from SyFy's The Magicians store. It's my current favorite tv show.

jackilynn I can only comment on book 1 because that is as far as I have gotten to date but it started off kind of slow. Maybe it was just me though. It did get better as it went & I heard the other books are even better which reminds me I really need to get back to this series. 😂😂 7y
