The stadium's restrictive bag policy kept me from bringing a book, but my first MLB game was surprisingly interesting even without it. If I go more often, I might try to find a slim paperback that fits in my pocket as I'm told there isn't usually a grand slam in the 9th inning. Maybe Cannery Row or something by Vonnegut.

TieDyeDude That's rare and exciting. It is a shame it was the visiting team that won, but I'm glad you had a good time. I always enjoyed the relaxed pace and communal environment of baseball games, even though I don't follow the sport anymore. 2mo
