I've been participating in #Gottacatchemall hosted by @PuddleJumper since the beginning of 2024.
Until now, however, I wasn't sure about how I wanted to play the challenge. Did I want to use a book for multiple fitting prompts or did I want to do “1 book for just 1 exact prompt“?
I've now decided to do the 'One book = one prompt' approach this year, it's more difficult and more fun 😊

Four hours to go till midnight here in Germany and eventually it's become clear that my #firstlast book will be one and the same.
I've paused my reading of the tagged book for a bit as it didn't qualify for any prompts of #Gottacatchemall hosted by @PuddleJumper (at least not as quick as needed😉) and it doesn't feel very winterly. ❄️
But now I've caught all the #Pokemon I wanted, I'm ready to continue Hotel Africa and start into 2024 with it.🎉
Yes! I just had one tentative goal and that was at least 35 books and maybe hit the 50 book mark, if possible. I've deliberately kept my goals low as I'm a very slow reader and for the last few years, life was more about survival than about reading (let alone enjoying reading) due to my mental health.
At 66 books read I've easily surpassed my goal! 🥳
