1) watching Macy‘s parade with Family. Love the new Mario float.
2) holiday signage in Tariffville celebrating Autumn and the coming Christmas season
3) Thanksgiving dinner.
4) My husband enjoying his Thanksgiving. His cranberry sauce was yum!
5) Poe & Em snuggled together. We do not know how long we will have Poe, so every day is precious.💛

Special 6th joy: Litsy & Littens! 💛💛💛

DebinHawaii Lovely joys! 💛💛💛 Kisses to Poe & Em. 😽❤️❤️ 2d

That‘s one of my favorite lines in one of my favorite stories (The Masque of the Red Death). “Which embrace three thousand and six hundred seconds of the times that flies.”

Poe is my constant reading buddy, so I had to include tonight‘s picture of him peering at me from my lap.

Halloween season is the best time of year to find Edgar Allan Poe books and novelty items. The latest addition to our Poe book collection is a charming book titled, ‘Poe Knows: A Miscellany of Macabre Musings.‘ It‘s an illustrated compilation of 200 quotes that showcases his wit and wisdom in bite-sized pieces. I also found a beautiful book-shaped ceramic planter. My blog has all the details.

I loved this SO MUCH! You know that phrase 'brain teaser'? Well this was a cross between a 'brain engager' and a 'brain happy-er'. 😁 I honestly think the the title and cover do the book a disservice because it's a such a clever, well-crafted little collection of poems. On top of both the title and the poem itself in each case indicating an image related to the subject matter, most of the poems had a pleasant rhythm and a rhyming scheme. 1/2

Robotswithpersonality 2/2 This might seem like the bare minimum, but I think it's a pleasant bonus that the poems are fun to read aloud in addition to being enjoyable to look at as a graphic design.
If you need a moment to remember poetry is for everyone, pick this up. ♥️

5⭐️ this is not your typical Neil Gaiman and read. But that doesn‘t take away from this at all. This is super short, and the thought put behind writing this poem is just as beautiful as the poem was itself. If you have five minutes, pick up this book. I checked it out for free on hoopla.
