I enjoyed this one, but it wasn‘t a stand-out in the series. Helma‘s longtime (and unlikely) best friend Ruth is at the center with the uproar caused by her new series of paintings “Ruth Revealed.” Someone thought she revealed too much - and destroyed two of the pieces.

A fitting end to the series! This was the first mystery series I‘ve read that had an ending - well I guess Marple and Poirot did?

Lucy, a young librarian, gets pulled into the life of a young boy who frequents the library, 10-year-old Ian. It turns into a rather far-fetched road trip adventure of sorts. There was a lot about reading and books and how important they are, so that was good. But it also really didn‘t quite hold up and was a bit of a mess in the middle. The characters‘ motives were never very clear and their relationship didn‘t quite develop.

A rare snowstorm in Washington (the town doesn‘t even own a snowplow), an explosion, and the dubious status of the new library site causes a situation only Miss Zukas can remedy!

This was sweet and fun. Loved the sibling relationship and loved the relationship between the main characters.

Helsinki book fair ❤️ Friends, books, food, listening to author interviews, but mostly got distracted by tea and book related things 🤷🏼😍😁

Library board member Olive Boyle, with her sneering, nasty words has forced several altercations with Library Director Lindsey and her staff. At a library black tie dinner dance & fundraiser, Olive is discovered stabbed to death with the murder weapon,a knife in the hands of one of Lindsey‘s staff members.Believing she is innocent, Lindsey, her partner Sully, & movie star friend Robbie, put their heads together to solve the crime. #serieslove2024

Stopped for a maple cinnamon latte,biscotti, & a read while waiting for my son at an appointment. Bliss! Biscotti had cherries & chocolate. Yum! Happy Saturday!!!!
