#doublespin for Nov and my new favourite Discworld book! I‘m a bit sad that I‘m nearing the end of this series, it‘s so funny & clever. This one I found particularly good, really enjoyed the character of Moist 😆

I enjoyed this compilation of short works by Irving. The nonfiction bits were my favorites, oddly, especially the title piece and the Dickens pieces. The “author‘s notes” to the last selection, where he talks about meeting Thomas Mann‘s daughter on an airplane is also great. #doublespin @TheAromaofBooks
Bailing for now on this. I‘ll try it again in print. The narrator just puts me to sleep. I immediately start spacing out when I turn this audiobook on.

5 ⭐️s. It's a beautifully written story about Mi'kmaq family from Nova Scotia and how their lives play out after the youngest child, a 4 year old girl, goes missing. I felt a connection to the characters almost from the start, and the structure and back and forth between the dual narrators worked really well in this case. This was my September #Doublespin @TheAromaofBooks
Thanks to #roll100 & my November #doublespin I am delighted to move this 2018 #both off my #tbr shelf. This was enjoyable, and I liked seeing Hazel unravel the mystery. 3.5 ⭐️
This was just okay for me. A good escape during a difficult time that make me grin and laugh but I wanted a little more depth from@these characters. I‘ll keep reading Shalvis, just prefer a little less formula. And yes, I put up my tree. Hard week, y‘all. #netgalleygroup #bookspinBingo #doublespin @AllDebooks @TheAromaofBooks
Three strong women navigating life in small town 1950s Canada. One is a married stay-at-home mom of 4 children, one is a single mom with two daughters, and one is a single woman still mourning the loss of her fiancé in the war. Add in an interesting cast of male characters, two good, one awful, and it makes for great storytelling.
This was my #DoubleSpin for November. @TheAromaofBooks
