This was such a fun fantasy tale!

The strongest part of the book were the two lead characters, Cinna and Hokuren. I absolutely loved their friendship and the found family nature of it. They have both been through a lot and it was so heartwarming to see them act and care for each other like family.

I don‘t appreciate Nightfall trying to be a home-wrecker, however the story was funny and entertaining! I‘m very interested to see how the next volume addresses that surprising ending.

I can‘t stand Yuri, but volume five was as great as the previous ones! I‘m also not a fan of Nightfall, but I‘m intrigued to see how that plot line plays out. I definitely laughed out loud several times while reading this book and I look forward to the next one!

This felt very much introductory, like a pilot episode. I liked it well enough so far, would be curious to read more.

I tried to like “Soul Eater”, but the misogyny and abundance of fan service ruined it for me. The story is interesting but the art style is subpar. I hated every guy as they were obnoxious and gross, and the amount of female nudity and giant boobs was disgusting. The fact that there‘s portrayal of guys exposing their female partner‘s privates for leverage, and that another guy grabs two character‘s boobs to compare their sizes is horrifying.
