Another lovely #Persephone. No spinster lit this time but a story that starts off as a Cinderella one (plain girl meets her prince) but ends somewhere completely different. Not my favorite but I did spend some pleasant hours with Emily Fox-Seton and Lord Walderhurst.

Audio narration by Alison Larkin was fantastic🙌🏻🎧♥️ When a young governess discovers something sinister is happening in the stately manor house where she‘s been placed, instead of taking flight she fights! I adored this creepy gothic tale written by John Boyne!!! Perfect for fans of Daphne Du Maurier, Silva Moreno-Garcia & Shirley Jackson. #AAM #Hoopla

ChaoticMissAdventures The Professor and the mad man is fantastic, I had never heard anything about how the first dictionary was made before it came out and I was blown away. Say Nothing was one of my favorite books a couple of years ago, it goes deep and Radden Keefe has become 1 of my favorite authors. 3y

Completely adorable. Actor/writer/comedian David Walliams has really earned his crown as the much lauded ‘new Roald Dahl‘.
For me,he combines Dahl‘s whimsy and silliness (and fart joke level humor) with the world-building and cast of characters of a Nick Park animation (including Queen Vic!). This middle-grade comedy fantasy is the perfect story for any little reluctant reader. A joy!
