Just caught up to my goal. I‘ve been laid off since Apr 1st! Laid off and quarantined! How am I not crushing my goal? #readinggoals2020

This book was in the top of my TBR list for many years. Somehow I used to miss. That‘s why this year I started with this book. My first book for #readingwithmaja #january book with snow on its cover (though it‘s a picture of snow capped mountain!😛) @maich

Day 30 - #ReadingGoals2020 #DearDecember
#ReadingGoals2020 don‘t want to get too bogged down in goals as it can affect my enjoyment of reading, but #Booked2020 and the Modern Mrs Darcy challenge aren‘t too onerous.

My goal is to make a noticeable dent in the TBR mountain. Here‘s a pic of 36 of them! There are probably 200 more upstairs 🤯! Do I fully intend to read them all next year? Absolutely!!
#DearDecember Day 30: Our #ReadingGoals2020 at GatheringBooks. Overarching theme for 2020 is to read international literature, but we also have our quarterly reading themes as you can see above. Do join us and use the tag #ReadIntl2020. My goal is to read from 30 countries. We define international lit as translated titles, or books published outside of Canada, US, UK by people of colour, or narratives of im/migrants whose 1st lang is not English.
