pickA fitting conclusion to a charming middle grade series. I enjoyed the mysteries and getting to know the characters. Most everything is wrapped up in this sixth book, and it was a true treat to watch everything transpire.

I have no idea what number in the series this is.
This was a #Coverchangemidseries after the covers were give an entirely new look. The original hardcover of book 1 kind of sucks.
The only bad thing is how much this cover make me think of Americas Top Model and Smizing. And the book Model Land that Tyra banks wrote to go with it.

so-soBook 3 of the Incorrigible Children series...another so-so. I like the witty comments made by the narrator throughout. It seems like so many situations were packed into this book, with very little solving of any of the issues.

so-soSet in Victorian England, this is the first in a middle grade series featuring governess Penelope Lumley & her charges, known as the Incorrigibles. Much of the narration I think is to mimic Lemony Snicket‘s narrator for the Series of Unfortunate Events; it falls flat on that mark. I‘m also a bit horrified by the kids‘ treatment from a few adults. Nevertheless, I want to keep reading the series. Book 1 in #BBRC #CoverChangeMidSeries #MiddleGrade .

TBH I hate this cover. I thought book one's cover was so much more kick a$$. This makes it look like a nice and sweet romance. Like and even more asian represented To all the boys I've loved before.
It's a shame that this had a #CoverChangeMidSERIES. (hint hint #BBRC).
