drokka That 57% one may have more to do with quality (of writing) and quantity (market over saturation - too much on offer) I guess it depends on what the data is portraying. Here it seems to be about readers, but I'm convinced that statistic works in isolation. 8y

InLibrisVeritas I know so many people who don't read. I'm "the reader" in the family, and every holiday it's a thing to joke about how little they read in front of me. I smile but on the inside I want to shake them and yell "this isn't funny" 8y

readinginthedark My husband has only read a few books since school, but he reads a lot of news articles. That's obviously not how I do things, but I think there's a lot to be said for different kinds of media (not just books). 8y

Ais @steverogers my two brothers very very rarely read! And my dad (who is 58) has only started reading a few books in recent years. My mam however reads nearly more than I do! I can't wait until I'm retired😇 8y

MaleficentBookDragon I've never understood it, but my one of my sisters and my boyfriend are not readers. Neither are dumb. My sister is a psychologist and only reads for work. She says being dyslexic ruined books for her when she was a kid. My sister said getting a book for Christmas would be the worst present ever. I ask for them every year. 8y

Gissy I think am the only one who reads in this marvelous compulsive way! 📚😍 For them and most of my friends, I'm not normal person! So, I'm the happiest not normal person living in a fantasy world! 😊 8y

The #toddlertbr. We visited the "liberry," as my 2 year old calls it, and got lots of books about space (his current obsession) and a few others. Mama got a lot too. I'll post mine later. #1000booksbeforekindergarten
